- In today's episode of farming life at la forge we are cutting the cereal / corn for 2024. Dad will talk to you about what we sowed and how the year went. After that he is back at the muckspreader and will attampt turning it over the clean it out and get access to the underneath. Finally I will be reviewing the Algo 22W lazer engraver that I intend to use for my merch.

Your Dad is a serious man for work Laura. He's not afraid to tackle anything if it saves some money. He deserves a lot of credit for his work ethic. The best to u all
Great video keep them coming 👍🏻 watching from Co.Leitrim

Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable video.
Great content Laura, dad's always busy, good luck with the harvest.
Great video Laura. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼
Great video as usual. Your Dad is some man for one man. That muck spreader is not a small project. Best of luck with it
Great video Laura
Good luck combining Declan
Great content! Take care and be safe...
Thank you 👍
Nice piece of equipment. I know that it can be darn hot behind the wheel. I don't mind summer days. But last years it's getting hotter and hotter. Every raindrop and brush of wind is welcome.
Great video Laura your dad is some man for work 💪👌
Hi, nice video for a Sunday evening.
All yields here in Dorset are average, my spring barley was very tall and yielded just above average. Sadly it was very green in the bottom and so couldn’t bale it straight away, now it rains every 3 days - not ideal. Had our six monthly TB test this week, passed again which is good for us and our neighbours. Cows back in calf, and took bloods from all the cows and bull - testing for BVD etc. results this week. Send us some sun please 🙏.
Take care all, stay safe and be happy.
Richard
One thing that needs saying is that when a job needs to get done Declan does it fair play to him 👍🏻🇮🇪☘️
Good video Laura.
Great video. Almost 21k subscribers!
Awesome video again Laura thanks for sharing. I think there will be a lot of crops that haven't done so good the weather has been all over the place. The spreader will look great when it's finished it will be spot on mechanical as your dad's doing it, doesn't do half a job. Thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊
Great Video
Great video. You may be in France but still loving hearing that lovely co galway accent.
You aren’t alone with bad yields this year. The same here in the UK. Unless you farm on relatively free draining soil, yields are pretty appalling
When you're dad has the bag full you have a digger go and dig a deep hole and cover over wishing you and family all the best

Do ye come over to Ireland for the Agricultural shows ? Ploughing, Tullamore etc.. ?
How many acre of grain do you farm there ....do you use it to feed your own cattle or sell it ?
Your farm is how much big i mean how many acres of land
hi! an other nice video! :) I wonder how much wheat yield do you get per acres?
That logo on the beanie hat looked great - very professional. Always said your design was better than your Dad's tractor logo.
Did you design that yourself ?
Yes, all are logos are done in house. Thanks 👍
Nice vd
Hi! How did you survive the very Hot Summer? What is the name and nearest vineyard and brand bottles of vine? Have you. any time for
Tá Romance? 💕 Go Deas!.
why did Declan think it was asbestos in the first place? Asbestos in a muck spreader?
Shed fire probably

Declen is without a drought an outstanding livestock man but personally I think he should leave it with the tillage because it’s obviously not making money .
John, couldn't agree more. Tillage seems to be gambling with the casino of weather and price. In the long run the casino always wins.
Even dairy farming in Leitrim is better!

Bonjour,
Bloody music, the machine and engine noise is all you need.
