  • Aloha beautiful people! Come along our snorkeling adventures today as we explore the underwater world of Hanauma Bay in southeast Oahu! This is a nature preserve formed from an ancient crater. Is it worth coming here? Watch the video till the end and see for yourself! ;)

The bay is great, but to avoid the crowds and see the same fish for FREE. 1- Sharks cove (north shore) free parking, No lines No waiting No crowds. 2- Secret Beach (ko Olina) free parking, private coves lots of space. Same Fish and turtles. Check out the videos. Thanks for sharing and MAHALO..

I grew up near Hanauma bay, the reef is dead, its been that way for awhile, water is mercky , however it is a fun beach if u have little kids.

Would you recommend HB over sharks cove?

Aloha Adriana! It depends. They are both different. It's hard to choose one over the other. I like both. If you can go to both even better! Of course, the difference for non-residents would be HB cost $ while SC is free.

I wasn’t able to get ticket this summer due to you have to buy online and in about 7 minutes all tickets are sold out, but overall a week in Oahu is not enough. Wanna go back and snorkel at hanauma bay.

Aloha! If you come back now there are no lines! Lol. At least that was my experience last Saturday. I know summer season is always super busy. Better to visit in the off-season if you can. 😎🤙 Mahalo for the sub!

I thought all beaches in Hawaii were free?

    • @LaineyhulaAdventures

Hi! Yes but this one is a protected marine reserve hence the fees.

Maybe the beaches are but Hawaii rapes tourists on fees for parking and entry to nature reserves.
