You've been busy, my friend - I'm enjoying this work. The Andante and the Presto are my favorite but the other two aren't far behind. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Costas, I really like your music, especially the menuets and your understand of form, I find the binary form movements really pleasing. I have a question: how did you learn orchestration? I compose for the keyboard but I think the orchestra and the chorus are better, fuller expressions of art. I will eventually buy modern, readable scores of Rameau’s operas (he’s my artistic inspiration) to study and learn from, but I wanted to know if you had another way of learning it. I suppose I might not be ready yet, as I am just beginning to dip my toes into 3 part harmony. Thanks for your thoughts in advance.
Hi! Thanks for your kind words! For the orchestration: its just observing what you want to hear in the piece. Read as many scores as you can and compose. Its many things: experience, observation and what you want to do.
I still find it amazing that people are now writing 18th century style music. It does call into question what happened in the last 2 centuries, especially, ugh, 20th century music.
Lots of really cool (in my opinion) innovations happened in music on so many levels. HOWEVER, I think that anyone should write in whatever style they want. I write in a more romantic style myself because it’s what I like the most. Cool symphony though, lots of effort went into this and I can tell!
A charming, authentic and convincing classical sound
Thanks a lot!!!

Well I can speak only for myself. I simply compose in the style I enjoy the most.!
