Thank you very much for making this tutorial! The HP printer literally comes without any instructions, it just says to download the mobile app, but then it can't connect to it because you need to be connected to the printer's wireless, which of course they don't say in the instructions.

I agree with these other comments you received on here i was about to throw mine out the window and YES HP would happy to have you as an employee. Thanks again.

@@MartinJLim I ended up returning mine due to the total pain in the neck that it was. I spent another $100 and bought an Epson ecotank which is easy to set up and the ink is vastly cheaper and it works great. I will never buy another HP product.
Maybe I can ask you ? Do you know if it comes with ink bc mine didn’t I was told it would ups only alight with the ink it comes with . It’s not cooperating with ink I bought for it 😢

Not impressed. I have only used the printer once and when I went to use it again all of the lights are blinking and nothing seems to stop them. I am ready for a refund! My last HP worked for 13 years without any issues!
Omg. If it wasn’t for this video I was like other about to smash it in the wall! like how the hell are you supposed to know all that from the 1 paragraph startup book they give you. I mean I even had to UA-cam how to get the ink in too! this guys video was the best. He should deffo get some income from them cos their info is bull! If you but this printer literally dont even look at their instructions UA-cam IT and recommend ppl to this guy. Literally. So happy I found this arghhh how frustrating it was befor hand lol
I'm really glad that I found this video!! I have the same type of printer that my parents recently brought and they couldn't get it to work, Due to this video I was able to make it work so my family and I could print out things for DIYs and business reasons!! This is a useful video!!☺️
I guess 90 percent of the people do know the process of scanning,printing,copying in two different methods like through wifi,or through usb cable.it would be a great help saving tons of seconds,if an Operatioal manual is attached with the printer for new buyers.
I tried for about a hour to connect this printer stayed on the phone with a representative from HP for about another hour and he left me on hold saying he was getting help but it took so long I hung up. I think that was his goal. However, I listen to this video for 3 minutes literally got the hang of it and was able to connect it.
well and true if you do all your work on a tablet or phone but did not explain on a computer if things don't go to plan. My computer will not download this printer and its functions and is always flashing which means I cant print. I have gone around the houses to solve this issue and always end up at the same point again. Its frustrating to say the least
Looks good but hp are clever using their new app it's easy but then you can only use ink refills from them,not from a super market that's why the printers are cheap one registered they will only except cartridges from HP direct because of the bar codes ,

How did you get it to print the printer alignment sheet? I’m pretty sure mine isn’t connected to the internet. I’m at the stage where the power botton is glowing and the wifi one is blinking and I already put the inks in but I can’t get it to print the alignment sheet.

@@frchristie yes I did, I just un plugged the printer and re did the process. To print the alignment sheet I clicked the info button and it printed the alignment sheet. How this helps you.

I need help printing the alignment sheet, I just baought the deskjet plus4152 , and started to set up like your video, but after installing cartridges no alignment sheet has been printed, how long do I wait, or how can I do it myself? Also can I skeep that step and vome back to it later?

Thank you for your clear instructions. Barely any instructions with my printer. Was ready to return. HP said my ipad wasn’t close enough to printer and printer wasn’t close enough to router. Every other device is further away and all hook to router just fine. HP fail. Now after days I think I can print like “Normal”.
These are] absolutely the most inadequate instructions I have ever come across. I will NEVER recommend an HP unit for the average , in home use. Simply terrible. I now have an error code of "fatal error". Really sucks!!!!!
My problem is that i do all the steps and am connected to the Direct but the HP Smart App is not loading unless I connect to some form of internet. I just don't understand. My wifi of the printer and my mobile network can't be on in the same time. So i just don't know what to do 😔 because if i try to scan or something with the app it states that the action is not supported. I have the urge to trash it 😭 Any advice? Please..
You do wifi setup not wifi direct of you have home wifi network. If you do not have wifi then wifi direct is best. For any issue just uninstall app and printer and then install app and printer again so that it works properly.

Ugh. After I hit the WiFi button and then the “i” button it won’t print anything out.

@@eclecticmarty it’s frustrating for sure. Epsom eco tanks are Alittle more than I want to spend tho. The cheapest one I found was like $250.

You do wifi setup not wifi direct of you have home wifi network. If you do not have wifi then wifi direct is best. For any issue just uninstall app and printer and then install app and printer again so that it works properly.
