Great exercise, Howard! It's funny...whenever I play the 2 draw and then the 3 blow, or vice-versa, I think I'm making some sort of a mistake, even now, after playing for 16 years!

When I just listen to what you are playing, the diffrent patterns give me diffrent feelings.. Some sound curious and one sounds spooky. One sounds like a cloudy day to me.

Ok, it sounds curious but I can't figure out how this helps me targetting the right notes. I don't see it.
On the contrary, after practicing this exercise I'm totaly confused as to which note is where on the harmonica.
What should be the general lesson and help of this exercise?
That notes are located in a non-uniform way on the instrument?
Sorry, but I knew that already.

I have often had "in my head" that notes from one hole ....Say 6 to 7, seemed to be further apart mechanically. But logic told me the holes are the same distance from a mechanical design. It still is difficult to force myself to realize that when practicing. Weird.
