Maybe update the video sense. The kite does not come with the spring. But you need to take the back, plate out to get the safety spring out. I spent twenty minutes trying to pull it out. I figured since the third spring was not included. I did not have to take the back plate out and do that step. It really needs to be updated
Just installed the kit. What took you less than 20 minutes took me about an hour! 😉 I had to keep stopping the video and backtracking. Bottom line, it all functions. Dry fire is noticeably better. Well worth $20. for the spring package for this great platform.
Another great video Brandon, thanks! I usually throw a rag over my hand/strike plate when removing, the tension spring either gets caught in the rag or falls onto the bench. I find a small magnetic tip screwdriver is helpful for re-installation as well.
Just installed the spring kit and the Arminius trigger and cannot be happier. Feels 5X better then factory. Shipped fast and everything was as expected.
I've been working on the Safety Lever, after 1,000 times pushing it on and off. It still felt stiff, seemed it was rubbing the slide. I cut a 1" strip of 1500 wet and dry sand paper, pushed down slightly on the slide to get the sand paper under the lever. Carefully sliding it along the frame, then pulling it in the other direction, numerous times. Then, flipped the paper over sliding it on the underside of the safety lever. Pulling it back and forth. Did this on both Safety levers, eventually folded the 1500 grit, with Sand paper on 2 sides you have to push slightly down on the Frame as your sliding the Sand paper under the lever. Then pull back an forth, slightly sanding the the underside of the Safety Lever and the frame numerous times. Honestly didn't notice any unsightly marks from the Sand paper, being its so fine. I put oil, I put grease on the inside of the frame, where Safety Lever pivots, nothing loosened it up except the Sand paper under the Safety lever. The underside of the Safety levers are rubbing the frame, on mine, so try 1,500 or 2,000 grit wet and dry sanding, mine is now easily moved up and down with my thumb on the left side or my index finger on the right side. Hope this helps. Masonry Plus Florida
I installed my spring kit. Mine didn't come with the striker spring but I didn't notice a discernable difference from the factory pull other than the wall may be a little more defined and reset may be a fraction shorter, but its less than 20 bucks so no loss.
I just finished installing the spring kit and the trigger a few tips for anybody that’s doing this have a quality set of punches and work on A sturdy surface a heavy table or concrete etc.
Great videos, thanks so much for all you guys have put out. did you figure out what sights will fit on the mount? I'm looking at changing to night sights or a red dot.any advice would be great.
Our optic mount plate is about to drop in the next week or two, and I believe Tru-Glo just about has a set of sights ready, I'll have to double check that.
I need help... My slide lock is not locking the slide on last shot. I believe it is the contact point between the magazine and the slide lock... other than buying a new magazine, what can be done to fix this issue? Is anyone else having this issue?
I went to your site to order the spring kit and it looks like you don't sell the striker spring for it anymore? Also are you still planning on doing a safety delete pin?
@@GallowayPrecision please keep us posted man, I just got this gun for my first gun and you're the only one doing upgrades for it, I already have the spring kit and mag extensions ordered so just waiting on those, thanks for everything keep up the good work
@@GallowayPrecision hey Brandon I've got your kit as well and have been trying to source the info on this striker spring to find out what the weight / pounds is on it. I do that to see if it will help with the trigger pull in the m&p 1.0 series without having to order one for it since I already have your kit and they / it's comparable to glock internals on this sar and could work
At 1:05 you have moved the weapon out of the video frame, so I cannot see how you are stripping the slide off. And you're moving way too fast without describing exactly how you are doing this for a novice. Please redo this video
has ''shooting'' in his @ but cant operate the takedown lever without a youtube vid, then asks the creator to re-do the vid just for him 4 years after the production. sounds like you should be outside shooting, not inside complaining.
@@skwissgaar_skwigelf_kdz3251 It's not shooting that will teach me how to remove the barrel. But I did figure it out, but it took the manual. And nowhere in this video does he make it clear which of all the springs he removes and replaces, which one is actually reducing the pull tension. He just disassembles and reassembles by replacing 2 springs. Which spring is the one that reduces the pull pressure?

Where to order the lost spring and plunger
Pretty sure you will need go directly to SAR for those.
What's the update on the safety delete pin?
How about some night sights?
Any plans on releasing an aluminum flat trigger for the sar9?
Currently programing for those now. No firm ETA at the moment.
Hi, I messed up my blocker spring and need it replaced. Do you just sell these?
Please contact us through our website and we can get you taken care of.

Had that same problem . pull the trigger
My grandpa always said if it can't shoot steel it don't deserve brass
I just used American Steel ammo today. The recoil was shit.. I still have 500 rounds more of it. :(
When will it be available?
It will be on the website this weekend.
So he hides the slide removal
Sorry that was not shown. Should be in your manual if you are not familiar.

The striker spring wasn't needed so we dropped it, We're still going to do the safety delete, and we'll be doing a trigger bar as well.
