- We fish a spillway in West Virginia trying to catch whatever bites. We end up catching BIG MUSKIES!!
The Gear Used Today:

LURE -- Chasing Trophy Fish EOC 4.5 Jerkbaits
LINE -- 10lb Sufix monofilament line

Y'all really need to invest in a big net and some stronger gear 👍 them long fights on light tackle and then banging on the rocks a bit can definitely attribute to delayed mortality = fish dying a little while after u release em. Just something to think about, but when your buddy said "10 minute fight" 😬 that should never happen. I have caught muskies on 8 lb test before (braid) and the fight has never been more than 2 to 3 minutes long. And that's extremely rare. Most the time I'm using 40 - 80 lb braid, to ensure a quick catch and quick release (most catches are less than 45 seconds long). Just trying to b positive in the critique, many others will flat out blast u guys 🤷♂️ every angler should always strive to keep learning and improve their craft. Good luck out there 🎣🤙
I appreciate the help last video definitely helped us land these fish... but you know we don’t target muskie right... we fish more for walleyes, trout and bass and you need lighter tackle to catch them. We all three own bigger nets but we are on a hunting trip and had a nice day so we fished but I think anyone who is your everyday angler and enjoys catching whatever bites isn’t always prepared for when the BIG one bites which in this case was three muskies. Myself along with my friends fish to enjoy ourselves and make memories... I appreciate your advice though and when and if we target musky we will definitely have a net with us... good luck on the water man

You walked up to a river in an area known to have muskies with a musky lure on, tf u mean u werent targeting them. u already stupid for doin it, but now you like were fishin to make memories? haha boy get a fucking better net and a rod and your memories wont involve you harmin the fish

Well how big was it you gotta start measuring them! That first one was not 38 I think that’s what someone said in the video. The “big one” might have been 45?

If your going to treat our fish like that, coming to fish here without a net. Your basically kicking the poor thing to get it onto the bank , smashing it into and over the rocks. Goodness gracious can you do better next time?.... I remember my first time fishing too lol. When god was giving out brains, did you guys think he said trains?... that's why you asked for a small one?!?
