I dissolve the catalyst in Aqua Regia solution. after finishing the work : I add zinc to it. The reaction is highly calorific but does not precipitate When I add sodium bohydride, nothing precipitates, and when I add more, a white jelly-like substance precipitates. When I add aluminum to it, the reaction is very hot, but I have a black and purple deposit. Exactly how should I separate palladium, platinum and rhodium from the solution. Rhodium is not important to me right now. How do I separate platinum and palladium from Aqua Regia solution?
Thanks for sharing this video! I've got a question, does the platinum get consumed by the reaction? So do you have to change the platinum after some time for the decomposition of the hydrogen peroxide? thanks for answering!
No, the catalyst reaction is two part. First the extra oxygen in H2O2 prefers the bond with the metal forming a metal oxide (PtO). However, with further interaction with H2O2 an O2 bond is preferred to the metal oxide bond which releases the oxygen from the metal to form the common O2. No metal is consumed.
You should drop powdered platinum into the hydrogen peroxide. Or, not. It's very dangerous and you'd waste a lot of platinum when the reaction shoots out of the top of the beaker..
In the scheme at 1:15, as of what I know, O2 doesn't have a double bond and is a stable free radical, with each oxygen atom having an unpaired electron.
Your're right, that follows from the MO-diagram. In order to minimize confusion, we use the representation with the double bond, as long as we don't want to point out special reactivities.
Using the Schott Duran glassware made in Germany ( actually says West Germany on the beaker so it must be fairly old ) so I think it might be Chemplayer under a new identity.
unfortunately we have a different language. It's clear : - ua-cam.com/video/FXQbVf6Oric/v-deo.html but your not, it's not clear: - what substance is taken how it is not always clear if you post your machine text under the link ("description") below, it will be better. in languages there is a grammatical difference. but if there are formulas and the number(quantity) of substances taken, then immediately everything is clear.

Ok, we can do that. Well, the software we use is the best TTS program for free. As long as no one wants to donate money so that we can invest in a proper software we'll stick to this one.
Thanks.as a result of oxidation with hydrogen peroxide. can platinum be precipitated?
شكراً 😩😩
Tyyssmm 4 this vid 🥺♥️♥️♥️.

Where did you get platinum metal ?

Will it hurt the Pt?
Does this also decompose the platinum?
Which decomposes the hydrogen peroxide more vigorously, platinum or silver?

LOOOOOOOOOOL
whats the best way to clean platinum without damaging it
Dip it in mineral acids, solvents, then torch it. Really depends on your dirt
What floating nugget ?
U can use to make batteries .
How much percent is the peroxide?
1:34 I believe it is 35%. : )
What is so special about platinum?
Where did you get a sheet of platinum? Seem large
It was cold rolled from a platinum ingot.

used peroxide on a half kennedy it turned whiteish.. anyway to get it back to silver color??
I dont know what alloy it is but generally flushing with distilled water and gentle rubbing should help.
Astral Chemistry its 40percent silver rest is copper in the middle
Astral Chemistry will the peroxide ruin the collector value??
Astral Chemistry want to get it graded as its almost in uncirculated. condition just dirty it as found in avmarsh..
i cant get all the black gunk shit off it
المنيوم يتحلل
فضه وبلاديوم وبلاتين نفس التفاعل!!!
another chem player???
I thought they just switched lab areas ... not sure if its them or not now

unclear(not understand)
what are you doing.
please specify the formulas on the screen.
What exactly is unclear?
unfortunately we have a different language.
It's clear : - ua-cam.com/video/FXQbVf6Oric/v-deo.html
but your not, it's not clear: -
what substance is taken
how
it is not always clear
if you post your machine text under the link ("description") below, it will be better.
in languages there is a grammatical difference.
but if there are formulas
and the number(quantity) of substances taken,
then immediately everything is clear.

This is what makes Rocket Man Fly through the Air......H2O2 into a Pt Cat.....
proud of being wester German, lol you didn't rationalize the denominator. invaded normandy ect. We love France, what are you doing?
Happen with every rock I use lies unbelievable 🤣
