A severe heatwave alert had been issued for Delhi and various Indian states over the past few days as temperatures soared to unprecedented highs in multiple locations.

Suggestion to tackle unemployment in Odisha
1. Land consolidation
2. More water to the agricultural fields through canals and dug wells.
3. Horticulture and silviculture in hilly and denuded forest lands.
4. Denuded hillocks May be given on lease to the nearby villages for afforestation with close monitoring by forest and horticulture departments.
5. There should be Village markets every 10 km radius.
6. There should be more cold storage in every block.
7. There should be one government ITI /skill development centre in every block.
8. There should be a village education committee in every village to see that all children are educated upto class 10 and there is zero school dropouts.
9. There should test centre in every district headquarters for recruitment of government jobs upto group B posts .
10. Setting up of more mineral and agro/horticulture based industries in the state.
11. Odisha should be made an information technology hub like Hyderabad/Bengaluru. In Hyderabad there are more than 1200 software companies.
