I personally like it because it feels much more personal and friendlier than email, social media, etc. It's also both a social activity as much as it is an introverted activity, because you're writing alone, and there is no expectation for an instant response. I also like the fact that a letter I send might make someone smile a little, and the letters that I receive bring me joy as well.
@@Truman96 Agree! I write to friends and they always tell me what a wonderful surprise & treasured gift it is to receive a handwritten letter in the mail. I grew up in a family of letter writers (not all; just a few) and loved getting their letters in the mail! I pull those old letters out from time to time and still enjoy reading them. I appreciate this video for ideas on how to store them.
