However, there is one incident where a parent was holding the child to pose for a picture and the horse did bite the child's leg and held on for a bit. The child was hysterical.

Not only are people completely lacking enough functioning brain cells to see they are endangering themselves but there is a human sitting on the horse to allow them to entertain themselves and jeopardize his safety as well! Their boo-boos could never compare to causing a fall from a massive animal, the injuries he will receive and at the same time be honor bound to protect bystanders.

The Guard is trying to keep everyone from being bitten by the horse. Unfortunately, (for the horse) that means pulling the reigns tightly in the opposite direction. It looks to be a pretty good tug and will likely result in a sore mouth by the end of the horse’s shift. People are ridiculous, selfish and incapable of comprehensive thought. I don’t watch these very much now because of that.

You don't have to be a horse body language expert to know when a horse is angry and sending a clear warning signal to back off or face the consequences! I myself worked with horses in my younger years, and you have to know certain things, ears pinned is a warning to back off or else. In the stables some horses had a reputation for biting and kicking, I have been bitten countless times, and stood on bucked off etc and never required an ambulance. I have been very fortunate. I have had several nasty bites. These horses here are on duty. There is a clear sign there warning people but still they ignore. It's worrying to see a horse clearly angry pinning its ears flat against its head, and swinging round in anger nipping and biting people or trying to, tossing its head in anger and frustration and stamping its feet! if the guard did not pull on the reins, I dread to think what might happen. They shouldn't have to! They are not on duty not to be super vigilant about trying to stop their horses biting silly people posing for a picture. It is shocking that many laugh and deliberately provoke the horses enticing them to bite, and even carrying their kids over and teaching them to laugh and putting them in danger. Not exactly brilliant parenting. If those horses did a proper bite, then I dread to think 😱 They can deliver a very powerful bite! They wouldn't be laughing then I can assure you ! 😡
