I was agreeing until you mentioned Xerjoff, which to me is the only niche brand worth their hype, but then I couldn't disagree with their butt plugs & candles, didn't even know Naxos price increased but I guess they realised it's their cash cow & they could make more profit. Probably didn't have to raise it by that much though, but still one of the more affordable & universally appealing niche fragrance out there. One of the most refreshingly honest UA-cam fragrance channels out there right now. Loving your angle!
Thank you kindest! Yea from each brand mentioned (except electimuss) there is fragrances that I love and buy/bought. But xerjoff probably stands out. And Maybe Naxos in particular. For the reasons you mentioned. 260$ or as it used to be 200$ for 100ml of that juice is really a good price. Because you get performance, quality oils, a pretty versatile scent, great presentation and as you said, a very likeable scent. But I had to give them a bit of a punch for the reasons I mentioned. 25% sounds high, but it cant be too far from the price increase they might have seen. The chemical prices have gone up, energy cost, transportation cost have gone up compared to last 12 months. If they have take loan the interest rates are higher too. Each supplier and the middle man wants to keep their profit margin just passing on the cost to end customer. We can see the food cost in Sweden has gone up a lot around 15 to 25%.
I definitely understand that the inflation is a part of it. But 60$ per bottle seems way too much. Especially since many others from xerjoff hasn't had that increase. So it kind of feels like they are milking a more popular one.....

I mean if you buy cloths and they and you find a loose thread you can go and get a full refund. But in Sweden the returning policy is for makeup products are very bad. And I wouldn't get anything back. Even if it happened in one week. Is the box sealing broken you are pretty much lost.... I guess for Electimuss it was a way in in the market. Get people talking.

I know we disagree with these two but I'd put PDM and Inito in there too. I get they are popular and folks love them but are they worth anywhere retail for what they are? Subjective of course. But yea mist if the times it is down to personal taste. But I tried to stay away from that in this video and just point at stuff you can put your hands on. And yeah imagine doing this on Instagram where you are able to tag the brands. I think I would have got a block at least 🤣
Absolutely f*ckin spot on! Respect! Never understood why fragrance houses don't just publish out their strongest versions, have some self respect, and move on to another scent profile altogether. One for each. Done !

I'm not sure everyone is dishonest. I made a video some weeks ago where I mentioned that when many of us review a fragrance we still have that novelty feeling. You know like a kid with a new toy. But what happens when that novelty feeling disappears? Do we still like it as much, do we still think it is as good? One way of spotting it is when someone really hypes it but then never talks about it again in weekly rotations or top lists this or that....
People are blinded by the price - expensive has to be the best. Best example is Boadicea and their fb group calling every their fragrance best in the world. However if you really like something without influence from others and you are ok with the price than it’s worth it for yourself🙂

But even a fragrance that performs badly can still be worth it tho. Sometimes we just focus too much on performance. Scent must be in focus. But especially with Elysium cologne I just feel it wouldn't take that much to squeeze out more of it
Yea I agree that if fragrance doesn’t perform no matter the price it’s just a bad fragrance overall. It doesn’t have to be beastly but at least you should be able to smell it for 4h That’s why I rate low every Hermes fragrance or everything from Jean-Claude Ellena. I like the Creed Aventus DNA but not a love for me. I don't reach for it much. Mont Blanc Explorer is a great alternative for a much cheaper price.
