COD nowadays isn't made for us veteran players, and it's not that we didn't adapt with the times, but our expectations were always high from many years ago, so sad

I loved the non disbanding lobbies and how awesome bo2 was. One of my favorite matches happened on THIS MAP. I joined in progress and they were calling me names and saying I was trash. Got mad and dropped 60 on em on this match. We proceeded to have a rivalry for two more matches. I won all three. SBMM and chat monitoring has absolutely made all of this impossible. It’s silent lobbies and fluctuating skill levels so that we all end up 1/1. SBMM should be in ranked only.
Looking at BO2 and BO6. It’s obviously night and day. BO2 has no SBMM, no crazy Omni movement, no insane spawn trapping. Just a simple and fun FPS to enjoy, something that modern COD’s lack.
@@roblogez Idk how it was in BO1-5, but in OG MW2/3, they had SBMM, but they'd have very good players and bad players. Then they would get split evenly 1 sweat on each side and so on. Then the lobby ran off the player with the best connection. If that player left, the lobby host would switch to the next best connected player. It was beautiful. Finding a lobby was fast. Not like today. Millions of players and it still takes a minute or two to get a full lobby. Really? Current SBMM is ruining lobbies so much.
The final straw for me was I was killing the vibe in my friend group, I was complaining the whole time about how awful the snipers and the manipulative matchmaking. I realized I actually wasn't having fun and forcing myself to grind the camo. All of MP content on youtube is masterperstige grinding, camo grinding, and best loadouts. Remember back then when there was funtages, trolling videos, sniping/knifing clans, and ragetages. I don't see like 90% on that on youtube anymore bc the games all about mastery camos and not actual having fun with the game. I love making sniper montages but its not worth it with these EOMM lobbies. Everyone just comments "bot lobby" when you hit a clip. You know why its a bot lobby? Because snipers can't compete against actual sweaty players and the game forces you into a bot lobby eventually so u can hit a clip you want finally. I want to hit clips ORGANICLY!!! But people don't even realise what SBMM/EOMM is to begin with and just say "skill issue." What a joke of a game
Why does the game have no vibe anymore? Look at plaza, the map has like an aura to it. Does this make sense? The game feels dull, everything looks the same now like they reuse the same low saturated props
Newer cods will never feel like a new experience because they’re STILL making them on last gen consoles 🤦♂️ due to their severe limitations this sucks for everyone because they have to be able to play with everyone else smh MW2019 was the most recent one that actually felt different (The multiplayer sucked tho)
Fr my biggest complaint about this game is how soulless the maps are, the movement and gun play isn’t bad imo, I only play on weekends so idc much about sbmm cause I’m just a super casual but everytime I play this the maps makes me physically depressed with how dull they are lol
now that you mention, 10 mins before writing this comment, i was playing and the whole session was just pure aids, got that whole spawn camping in Babylon match, cracked out pixel shooters, borderline aim bot sus players. it just felt bad, compare that to yesterday or the day before, and i was having fun at least, it was hectic but i was positive ratio and enjoying myself, but today was just so bad. as i was telling my friends i was done for the night i blurted out " i think this game is already dead to me" and they all literally sighed and said yeah same. fucking sucks man
@@mrmeaty2140 I genuinely believe the system was busy gathering data to start categorizing us into above average skill lobbies. I was having so much fun for the first few days with multiple people and now they have all complained that it feels too hard in the last two days. A lot of excuses, such as 'oh people just figured out the maps', etc. I believe SBMM/EOMM was just not working at maximum. And with 60% of the player base not really caring about how matchmaking has an effect on them, I don't see it hurting Activision at all. They made their money off of release, their experienced players invested either through Game Pass or outright purchasing the game, they touted their numbers to investors and review sites to draw in hesitant players, and now they have to protect the below average crowd and settle skilled players in their own lobbies against one another as these newer players trickle in.

I get what you're saying but none of it was ever OK. I refused to buy any COD games with lootboxes and pay to win features and I haven't bought any of the modern CODs except MW2019. If everyone did that we wouldn't be in this mess. We have to use our wallets to demand better or we'll never get it.

First cod I haven’t purchased on release night since 2007.. yep, it hurts because of the nostalgia but the fun ended years ago when they moved away from Ping is King.. got tired of the 1:1 ratio.. no one wants to work 9 hours at their job and play a sweaty game.
I decided to exploit sbmm when I got a ps5 to get casual lobbies. Instead of selling my ps4, I kept it and created a dummy account for my main ps5 account to join on session off of. These matches feel like the og mw2 days, very tedious to do but still better than playing against gfuel adderall snorting freaks or simply retiring from cod.

See? Black Ops 2 was the last great CoD game activision created. You can see the quality right from the start, good maps, amazing graphics, sound. You get rewarded amazingly by killing other players and the map becomes chaotic with the amazing scorestreaks. What do you have in BO6? kill 7 dudes for an UAV? laughable.

Im not joking when i say MOST, not all of my deaths are from people spawning right behind me or getting shot and killed as soon as i spawn. Its beyond annoying. I can stand losing a gunfight but i mean when half of my deaths in a game are from shitty spawns it PISSES me tf off

BO6 is a mess. It’s gotten worse over time especially since Christmas. I went 21 games without a single win. I constantly get spawn killed. Hit markers and aim are all off. It can be night and day from one game to the next. It’s very unenjoyable now. I had to stop playing the last few days. One game I can go. 25-4 next game I can go 6-18. I have no idea what’s going on here but it’s broken. I only play tdm.
Earlier today I was having a pretty standard one to one match in scud, both teams were pretty even, but then I start holding a certain point and popping off going on the streaks up to 5. The match was about over in my team is starting to pull ahead. Then all of a sudden my game freezes and crashes with the scoreboard is at 95 and 90. That had never happened the last few days and I hadn't had that problem at all. I genuinely think the matchmaking determined that was supposed to lose and wasn't expecting me to suddenly start popping off. The next match after I logged back in absolutely punished me.
Since giving up COD and skipping BO6, I've played Silent Hill 1, PaRappa the Rappa and currently playing Super Mario Wonder -- and guess what, I'M HAVING FUN... shock right? Who would have thought? A reminder that video games are supposed to be FUN, not stressful.
Legend i quit cod in 2019 and only play my switch in the evening. Nintendo one of the only companies that put gameplay first. They not perfect but the games are still really really fun

I feel like damage is based on performance. There are so many times when I am on a 2.5+kd and all of a sudden I can only get hit markers. Sometimes to a ridiculous extent, six hit markers with two headshot markers and I still get outgunned by an SMG at range while I am using an AR. Repeat until I am near a 1k/d then I go back to getting kills with three or less hit markers. Maybe it’s just me, but the fact it could even be thought of as a possibility says a lot about the state of CoD

I understand that the ttk is fast in this game but I have genuinely in 13 years of playing cod have never seen the centering and accuracy I’ve seen from these pub lobbies. I genuinely believe some of these aren’t even real people just by the way the move or the unnatural centering. They got us playing hall of fame A.I I swear.
I had to quit playing tonight with my buddy, we both are close to 2kd and now we are losing every match and can barely go neutral and it's like me and him are the only 2 playing , it's the worst experience ever having to play like an esports final every match
The way I know EOMM doesn't work is the fact that CoD is no longer the top dog in shooters. We have Apex, Counterstrike, Valves new upcoming shooter, etc. CoD is no longer the trend setter, it is the trend chaser. Games aren't trying to copy CoD they're either their own thing or copying something else. The only way to beat EOMM is really to stop playing. Join me brothers and free yourself from EOMM and CoD. It will never get better til people learn to let the past go.
I had something like 30 DAYS or more of playing time on bo2 in 2012-13. No sbmm/eomm to "RETAIN" me. NO STUPID FUCKING STORE to sell me player skins i can't see. The best way now to have fun with cod is by simply not playing.
Kids nowadays have the attention span of a goldfish. When we were kids playing Bo2, it was a different time and pace of life. Now, kids barely have the attention span longer than a tiktok swipe so everything in the game needs to move 10x faster or else little Timmy is going to get bored and go back to spending his mommy’s money on Vbucks and not Cod points. It’s a greedy, despicable, manipulative system that we get punished for. It’s getting time for me to face reality and delete this game forever and never play again.
It’s fairly interesting because there are metaphorical similarities between these matchmaking practices and what we see happening with the attacks on the “middle class” (in the United States). When you have an algorithm determined to equalize outcomes and “nerf” people who worked hard for better outcomes, you’re left with a system that actually DE-INCENTIVES proficiency. Why should anyone improve if the outcomes/rewards are not scaled with improvement. That fact that below average skill players and above average skill players have similar stats is ridiculous.
They knew what they were doing by putting this game on gamepass. While the core gameplay isn't bad, the SBMM, is yet again, ridiculous. The only reason I'm playing it with friends is because we were able to get it for free. I would love to see the game sales numbers for people who ACTUALLY bought the game.

I used to play regularly all year until the new game came out. As this matchmaking bs started ramping up I played less and less. Now I usually quit by Christmas. None of my irl friends play anymore…none. I have no clue where the DATA comes from.

first day of playing: kd 3 to 6 up to 11 kill streak second day of playing: literally like dead ass no joking 100% (not 99% but actually 100%) of games played I am the worst last one in scoreboard being unable to kill even once a SINGLE target through whole match. There is something rigged or my brain is about to fall apart in a matter of days
BO6 SBMM is crazy, getting matched up against full 6man teams, while playing solo.. The SBMM doesn't count for party size at all in this game. But as soon as I play with more than 3 people it's flipped around. The opposing team have one guy doing all the heavy lifting while the rest of the team does nothing. Love you BT
Not in the current gaming market. They'd ruin a remaster with SBMM, shop bundles and other dumb shit. They couldn't even make MWR a standard remaster, they had to add supply drops and DLC guns to that game, they would completely destroy a Bo2 remaster nowadays.
All you gotta do is play party of 3 with one guy having low KD and watch the magic. Did a play test and put my sister in lobby with my friend and we all have 1.5KD and she had 0.36KD and we were vs against bots for 6 hours in total, resulting in the system protecting low KD in our party
And it's funny because it really is bots to do you see the names of some of those players straight bot names right... it's the same thing with me and my brother and he's older but he snipes so not every game is good unlike me i run and gun pretty good player shits sad when my own little brother don't want play cod with me anymore because i ruin his lobbies even if he's host because we're running together I'm sure it knows we are both on the same I.P.
@dirtyshasta I have the same problem, my friends just rage and can't get any kills in WZ as soon as I join them. I am also not able to carry them anymore. WZ1 we had no problems, I sometimes we get shat on but overall everyone was getting kills and having fun.
I've owned every title of cod, and I have always been well above average. My first game on this new one was about 85 kills to 8 deaths. Now, all of the games break even since that game. When I play on relatives and friends accounts, the same thing happens a massively high, kill death ratio, then all of a sudden, it drops. I swear they have me shooting blanks to even my playing out. I should record how many times I have to shoot somebody on hardcore. I've been shot across the map with shotguns. I have seen bullets fired at great distances and guide into me many, many times bullets go right through my team mates and kill me grenades go off closer to my teammates than me, but I die instead bullets will go around corners and into me. But in the end, I usually still break even.
God knows how EOMM is working for me because I jump on for 3 games, my teammates get farmed and we get dominated then I’m done for the day… I have to 1v6 to win a game, 2KD 0.6WL.
Finally tried this game at a friend's house. Play it on a new profile and the matchmaking was utter bull. Like you said, so many losing streaks only to get 1 win. How to describe it? 2 wins out of 20 matches. And the spawning is trash too. The spawn flip is constantly switched. Even the shooting felt off. Took me half a mag to kill a player, and they literally 3 shot me with the same gun. Even when I'm tracking my aim, it felt like not wanting to move for a split second on the joysticks. Told him he should just play something else. And guess what? He said "No way, this game is great. I'm like the pros in this". Well, I hope he enjoys it. Cause I'm not going to buy the crap
That was basically what my breakdown of it was. The same guns that kill me in 3-5 shots, it seems to take me at least 10 to kill someone else. And then the spawns are completely screwed. I'll spawn in the exact spot I died like 3 times in a row.
i spent many hours playing cold war in the lead up to 6 being released. all i would play was nuketown 24/7 and just learned the map. i learned where players usually went, all the spots you can get shots off into the spawn, the best places to camp if they keep rushing and my kd went up a lot. I learned how to play the game and the map and i was rewarded. i hav learned how pay back plays, and my Kd is the same or maybe even worse, i’ve switched to controller because aim assist is just better than mouse and keyboard and requires infinitely less effort. DOESNT MATTER, IM GETTING TOUCHED BY THE EOMM AND JUST DONT WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE. I WANT MY REFUND PLEASEEEEEEE
Also, imagine a game that levels you up in a completely different mode despite not playing said mode. I will brutally debate and hate on everyone and anyone that tells me or accepts that playing the zombies mode and ranking up in it, should also allow you to rank up in the multiplayer?.... like seriously what!. From just playing the zombies I couldn't believe my eyes that when I went to play the multiplayer in mw3 I had all the weapons I used in the mwz fully maxed and levelled up?... It just takes away the incentive to play the game at that point

The in-match manipulation is so f**cking momentum wrecking. I still play MWIII and during the match sometimes the enemy team mid-game transforms into faze members, it turns out that the algorithm wants me or my team to lose thus they replace the enemy team members who leave with super sweatlords to minimize or eradicate the chance of our team winning. And other times the enemy team is so weak and the members who leave them are replaced with equally skilled players of those that left or even worse! So we got SBMM/EOMM & in-game circumstance changes to ensure that when it not your time to win you'll not win no matter how good you or your team are. Nothing is f**king organic or natural, everything from matchmaking to in-game changes is algorithm controlled to ensure the grand plan is not derailed!!!
Since launch I've played exactly 1.5 matches of Multiplayer, 1 match of regular TDM then backed out halfway through Gunfight. And its because I know I'm gonna go from loving the MP to downright hating it within a few weeks, and I cannot be arsed to go through that cycle every year, anymore. I'm loving the Zombies and the Campaign which is why I bought the game to begin with. I just don't wanna go through the same love-hate-love-hate ect ect cycle with MP anymore.

As someone who’s been too 500 in many competitive shooters such as OW, the finals and Apex I can say that cod is a different level of sweat fest. I struggle to average a 2.5 kd in pubs. I don’t mind competition but to me the overly forced competitiveness of public matches takes away from the game. It’s like you have no escape from stress and every game feels like a job. I used to warm up in pubs and hop on S&D to get competitive. Now I pretty much just play S&D because there’s no difference.
Data and Stats are for nerds, most people just want to get into a game and shoot the enemy team, not spend hours developing the optimal loadout and playstyle to be hyper-competitive.
The algorithm is easily exploited. I just go crazy and then kill myself on purpose a bunch. All my matches im just playing against brain-dead players and getting away with murder. Im just out here trolling these players because of how bad. In my last game, I legit body shielded one guy, killed the entire enemy team, and as soon as my meat shield died, I grabbed a new one instantly and continued murdering everyone. It's stupid, but I'm not gonna complain because I'm just trolling, and it's great.
Reminder that MW2 the real MW2 is still playable and accessable, but most importantly safe and populated especially on 360. 360 market literally cannot go lower rn. I just picked up battlefield 3 for $4.99 at the local GameStop.
I have the worst KD I've ever had in any cod. Placed 3rd once and that was only because 5 people left the lobby. Their EOMM makes no sense because I uninstalled the game and won't be playing it. This is the fastest I've ever deleted a COD. Im done.
Dude, I have only went negative k/d a cpl games. But I realized I have to slow the fuck down towards the end of the match to avoid that from happening now. Aim resistance, being killed in 1 or 2 bullets, bad spawns etc. Now for the time in ever I'm no longer in the top 3 of my team, I'm usually last for trying not to go negative k/d. Fuck this shit man. I'm over it.
Kinda new to the cod community and this makes SO much sense. I started in S3 MW3 and just the difference alone to bo6 is crazy... But I’ve been saying for weeks I have days where I’m hitting all my shots and the next I’m shooting circles around someone as if my aim assist is off and my ads sens was turned up.. I’ve been thinking it’s just me with an inconsistent skill issue… but this has me wondering otherwise..
Wow look at that, he’s using a shotgun in BO2 and actually doing good! Try using either of the shotties in BO6 if you’re in high SBMM lobbies because you’re half competent at the game. They’re USELESS and unusable. The ASG takes 3 shots to kill someone at point blank range
The crazy thing is that this game actually did have potential in my opinion. I was doing great until I got to around 1.8 KD range and then got absolutely squashed. I’m telling you at least 20 straight games of other team 2.0-3.0 KD and my team .5-.6. Then get a good game and then back to it. It’s so exhausting I just want to play.
I feel you man. I feel like 2019 was the last decent cod, and since then all I do is the mastery camo's. After that I find the game itself to be soulless and empty. It feels so artificial. Almost no one ever talks, the games are full of players that have been traumatised into camping, unbalanced teams, and spawn campers. You can be damn sure I'm not spending a penny on a game that actively ruins my experience just for the sake of player retention.
I haven’t made a new online friend in CoD in years. Since Cold War at least. Since lobby’s disband after every match, you can never connect with anybody, either on your team or the enemy. Making new friends was a huge reason to get online, now there’s no fun or reason at all but to just get fucked alone while your buddies from BO4 days and prior remain offline for years
Just had a match where I was doing so good, I was purposefully spawned in front of the same enemy that had killed me, literally 6 feet away, and he was FACING me. Ridiculous, keep speaking the truth CODfather!
The first day I got it, I was stomping everyone and carried a pretty high K/D. 53 kills in my 5th game. Yesterday and today I’ve been playing the sweaty, extremely fast moving, bunny rabbit, 360 no scope G-Fuel infused virgins and my K/D dropped by .50 lol.
I figured that I’d just install zombies and campaign since I’ve been a game pass user for a while but when you work 2 jobs and have limited time to game and then that time finally comes. I look at bo6 and I just feel sick. So I go back on the ps5 and load up sparking zero because time is valuable to me.
Haven’t played CoD consistently since Cold War myself. Downloaded BO6 because it was on PC GP. Tried MP and actually played for about 3 hours and was having some fun. Then the ‘system’ had enough data on me and between hours 4-5 I could literally feel everything change. Got put into lobbies with kids like “Cry”, “try harder”, “git gud”, “yup no life”, and could see and feel my bullet literally do nothing. Got off and haven’t touched the game since… fuck Activision and their manipulative bullshit…

I loved the non disbanding lobbies and how awesome bo2 was. One of my favorite matches happened on THIS MAP. I joined in progress and they were calling me names and saying I was trash. Got mad and dropped 60 on em on this match. We proceeded to have a rivalry for two more matches. I won all three.
SBMM and chat monitoring has absolutely made all of this impossible. It’s silent lobbies and fluctuating skill levels so that we all end up 1/1. SBMM should be in ranked only.

Looking at BO2 and BO6. It’s obviously night and day. BO2 has no SBMM, no crazy Omni movement, no insane spawn trapping. Just a simple and fun FPS to enjoy, something that modern COD’s lack.

@@roblogez Idk how it was in BO1-5, but in OG MW2/3, they had SBMM, but they'd have very good players and bad players. Then they would get split evenly 1 sweat on each side and so on. Then the lobby ran off the player with the best connection. If that player left, the lobby host would switch to the next best connected player. It was beautiful. Finding a lobby was fast. Not like today. Millions of players and it still takes a minute or two to get a full lobby. Really? Current SBMM is ruining lobbies so much.

The final straw for me was I was killing the vibe in my friend group, I was complaining the whole time about how awful the snipers and the manipulative matchmaking. I realized I actually wasn't having fun and forcing myself to grind the camo. All of MP content on youtube is masterperstige grinding, camo grinding, and best loadouts. Remember back then when there was funtages, trolling videos, sniping/knifing clans, and ragetages. I don't see like 90% on that on youtube anymore bc the games all about mastery camos and not actual having fun with the game.
I love making sniper montages but its not worth it with these EOMM lobbies. Everyone just comments "bot lobby" when you hit a clip. You know why its a bot lobby? Because snipers can't compete against actual sweaty players and the game forces you into a bot lobby eventually so u can hit a clip you want finally. I want to hit clips ORGANICLY!!! But people don't even realise what SBMM/EOMM is to begin with and just say "skill issue." What a joke of a game
Why does the game have no vibe anymore? Look at plaza, the map has like an aura to it. Does this make sense? The game feels dull, everything looks the same now like they reuse the same low saturated props

Fr my biggest complaint about this game is how soulless the maps are, the movement and gun play isn’t bad imo, I only play on weekends so idc much about sbmm cause I’m just a super casual but everytime I play this the maps makes me physically depressed with how dull they are lol

now that you mention, 10 mins before writing this comment, i was playing and the whole session was just pure aids, got that whole spawn camping in Babylon match, cracked out pixel shooters, borderline aim bot sus players. it just felt bad, compare that to yesterday or the day before, and i was having fun at least, it was hectic but i was positive ratio and enjoying myself, but today was just so bad. as i was telling my friends i was done for the night i blurted out " i think this game is already dead to me" and they all literally sighed and said yeah same. fucking sucks man
@@mrmeaty2140 I genuinely believe the system was busy gathering data to start categorizing us into above average skill lobbies. I was having so much fun for the first few days with multiple people and now they have all complained that it feels too hard in the last two days. A lot of excuses, such as 'oh people just figured out the maps', etc. I believe SBMM/EOMM was just not working at maximum. And with 60% of the player base not really caring about how matchmaking has an effect on them, I don't see it hurting Activision at all. They made their money off of release, their experienced players invested either through Game Pass or outright purchasing the game, they touted their numbers to investors and review sites to draw in hesitant players, and now they have to protect the below average crowd and settle skilled players in their own lobbies against one another as these newer players trickle in.
Perhaps we treated loot boxes too harshly. I miss when the gambling was in our face, not this bizarre fucked up Soviet-style social experiment bullshit.

Man, the biggest thing i noticed with the b02 gampley is that the map had no clutter. There was not unnecessary shit placed all over the map.
The launch maps in bo6 are so bad they make some of the worst maps from previous CoD games look like masterpieces.

I decided to exploit sbmm when I got a ps5 to get casual lobbies. Instead of selling my ps4, I kept it and created a dummy account for my main ps5 account to join on session off of. These matches feel like the og mw2 days, very tedious to do but still better than playing against gfuel adderall snorting freaks or simply retiring from cod.

BO6 is a mess. It’s gotten worse over time especially since Christmas. I went 21 games without a single win. I constantly get spawn killed. Hit markers and aim are all off. It can be night and day from one game to the next. It’s very unenjoyable now. I had to stop playing the last few days.
One game I can go. 25-4 next game I can go 6-18. I have no idea what’s going on here but it’s broken. I only play tdm.
Earlier today I was having a pretty standard one to one match in scud, both teams were pretty even, but then I start holding a certain point and popping off going on the streaks up to 5. The match was about over in my team is starting to pull ahead. Then all of a sudden my game freezes and crashes with the scoreboard is at 95 and 90.
That had never happened the last few days and I hadn't had that problem at all. I genuinely think the matchmaking determined that was supposed to lose and wasn't expecting me to suddenly start popping off. The next match after I logged back in absolutely punished me.

I feel like damage is based on performance. There are so many times when I am on a 2.5+kd and all of a sudden I can only get hit markers.
Sometimes to a ridiculous extent, six hit markers with two headshot markers and I still get outgunned by an SMG at range while I am using an AR. Repeat until I am near a 1k/d then I go back to getting kills with three or less hit markers.
Maybe it’s just me, but the fact it could even be thought of as a possibility says a lot about the state of CoD

The way I know EOMM doesn't work is the fact that CoD is no longer the top dog in shooters.
We have Apex, Counterstrike, Valves new upcoming shooter, etc. CoD is no longer the trend setter, it is the trend chaser. Games aren't trying to copy CoD they're either their own thing or copying something else.
The only way to beat EOMM is really to stop playing. Join me brothers and free yourself from EOMM and CoD. It will never get better til people learn to let the past go.

Kids nowadays have the attention span of a goldfish. When we were kids playing Bo2, it was a different time and pace of life.

When you have an algorithm determined to equalize outcomes and “nerf” people who worked hard for better outcomes, you’re left with a system that actually DE-INCENTIVES proficiency.
Why should anyone improve if the outcomes/rewards are not scaled with improvement.
That fact that below average skill players and above average skill players have similar stats is ridiculous.
They knew what they were doing by putting this game on gamepass. While the core gameplay isn't bad, the SBMM, is yet again, ridiculous. The only reason I'm playing it with friends is because we were able to get it for free. I would love to see the game sales numbers for people who ACTUALLY bought the game.

The SBMM doesn't count for party size at all in this game.
But as soon as I play with more than 3 people it's flipped around. The opposing team have one guy doing all the heavy lifting while the rest of the team does nothing.

All you gotta do is play party of 3 with one guy having low KD and watch the magic. Did a play test and put my sister in lobby with my friend and we all have 1.5KD and she had 0.36KD and we were vs against bots for 6 hours in total, resulting in the system protecting low KD in our party

@dirtyshasta I have the same problem, my friends just rage and can't get any kills in WZ as soon as I join them. I am also not able to carry them anymore. WZ1 we had no problems, I sometimes we get shat on but overall everyone was getting kills and having fun.

I've owned every title of cod, and I have always been well above average. My first game on this new one was about 85 kills to 8 deaths. Now, all of the games break even since that game. When I play on relatives and friends accounts, the same thing happens a massively high, kill death ratio, then all of a sudden, it drops. I swear they have me shooting blanks to even my playing out. I should record how many times I have to shoot somebody on hardcore. I've been shot across the map with shotguns. I have seen bullets fired at great distances and guide into me many, many times bullets go right through my team mates and kill me grenades go off closer to my teammates than me, but I die instead bullets will go around corners and into me. But in the end, I usually still break even.

Finally tried this game at a friend's house. Play it on a new profile and the matchmaking was utter bull. Like you said, so many losing streaks only to get 1 win. How to describe it? 2 wins out of 20 matches. And the spawning is trash too. The spawn flip is constantly switched. Even the shooting felt off. Took me half a mag to kill a player, and they literally 3 shot me with the same gun. Even when I'm tracking my aim, it felt like not wanting to move for a split second on the joysticks. Told him he should just play something else. And guess what? He said "No way, this game is great. I'm like the pros in this". Well, I hope he enjoys it. Cause I'm not going to buy the crap

That was basically what my breakdown of it was. The same guns that kill me in 3-5 shots, it seems to take me at least 10 to kill someone else. And then the spawns are completely screwed. I'll spawn in the exact spot I died like 3 times in a row.

Is it weird that I went back to MW3M, bc that's exactly what I did.. HUGE DIFFERENCE...
i spent many hours playing cold war in the lead up to 6 being released.
all i would play was nuketown 24/7 and just learned the map.
i learned where players usually went, all the spots you can get shots off into the spawn, the best places to camp if they keep rushing and my kd went up a lot.
I learned how to play the game and the map and i was rewarded.
i hav learned how pay back plays, and my Kd is the same or maybe even worse, i’ve switched to controller because aim assist is just better than mouse and keyboard and requires infinitely less effort.
DOESNT MATTER, IM GETTING TOUCHED BY THE EOMM AND JUST DONT WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE.

Also, imagine a game that levels you up in a completely different mode despite not playing said mode. I will brutally debate and hate on everyone and anyone that tells me or accepts that playing the zombies mode and ranking up in it, should also allow you to rank up in the multiplayer?.... like seriously what!. From just playing the zombies I couldn't believe my eyes that when I went to play the multiplayer in mw3 I had all the weapons I used in the mwz fully maxed and levelled up?... It just takes away the incentive to play the game at that point

The in-match manipulation is so f**cking momentum wrecking. I still play MWIII and during the match sometimes the enemy team mid-game transforms into faze members, it turns out that the algorithm wants me or my team to lose thus they replace the enemy team members who leave with super sweatlords to minimize or eradicate the chance of our team winning. And other times the enemy team is so weak and the members who leave them are replaced with equally skilled players of those that left or even worse!
So we got SBMM/EOMM & in-game circumstance changes to ensure that when it not your time to win you'll not win no matter how good you or your team are. Nothing is f**king organic or natural, everything from matchmaking to in-game changes is algorithm controlled to ensure the grand plan is not derailed!!!

Since launch I've played exactly 1.5 matches of Multiplayer, 1 match of regular TDM then backed out halfway through Gunfight.
And its because I know I'm gonna go from loving the MP to downright hating it within a few weeks, and I cannot be arsed to go through that cycle every year, anymore.
I'm loving the Zombies and the Campaign which is why I bought the game to begin with. I just don't wanna go through the same love-hate-love-hate ect ect cycle with MP anymore.

As someone who’s been too 500 in many competitive shooters such as OW, the finals and Apex I can say that cod is a different level of sweat fest. I struggle to average a 2.5 kd in pubs. I don’t mind competition but to me the overly forced competitiveness of public matches takes away from the game. It’s like you have no escape from stress and every game feels like a job. I used to warm up in pubs and hop on S&D to get competitive. Now I pretty much just play S&D because there’s no difference.
Data and Stats are for nerds, most people just want to get into a game and shoot the enemy team, not spend hours developing the optimal loadout and playstyle to be hyper-competitive.
The algorithm is easily exploited. I just go crazy and then kill myself on purpose a bunch. All my matches im just playing against brain-dead players and getting away with murder. Im just out here trolling these players because of how bad. In my last game, I legit body shielded one guy, killed the entire enemy team, and as soon as my meat shield died, I grabbed a new one instantly and continued murdering everyone. It's stupid, but I'm not gonna complain because I'm just trolling, and it's great.
Reminder that MW2 the real MW2 is still playable and accessable, but most importantly safe and populated especially on 360.

I have the worst KD I've ever had in any cod. Placed 3rd once and that was only because 5 people left the lobby. Their EOMM makes no sense because I uninstalled the game and won't be playing it. This is the fastest I've ever deleted a COD. Im done.

Dude, I have only went negative k/d a cpl games. But I realized I have to slow the fuck down towards the end of the match to avoid that from happening now. Aim resistance, being killed in 1 or 2 bullets, bad spawns etc. Now for the time in ever I'm no longer in the top 3 of my team, I'm usually last for trying not to go negative k/d. Fuck this shit man. I'm over it.

Kinda new to the cod community and this makes SO much sense. I started in S3 MW3 and just the difference alone to bo6 is crazy... But I’ve been saying for weeks I have days where I’m hitting all my shots and the next I’m shooting circles around someone as if my aim assist is off and my ads sens was turned up.. I’ve been thinking it’s just me with an inconsistent skill issue… but this has me wondering otherwise..
Wow look at that, he’s using a shotgun in BO2 and actually doing good! Try using either of the shotties in BO6 if you’re in high SBMM lobbies because you’re half competent at the game. They’re USELESS and unusable.

The crazy thing is that this game actually did have potential in my opinion. I was doing great until I got to around 1.8 KD range and then got absolutely squashed. I’m telling you at least 20 straight games of other team 2.0-3.0 KD and my team .5-.6. Then get a good game and then back to it. It’s so exhausting I just want to play.

I feel you man. I feel like 2019 was the last decent cod, and since then all I do is the mastery camo's. After that I find the game itself to be soulless and empty. It feels so artificial. Almost no one ever talks, the games are full of players that have been traumatised into camping, unbalanced teams, and spawn campers. You can be damn sure I'm not spending a penny on a game that actively ruins my experience just for the sake of player retention.

I haven’t made a new online friend in CoD in years. Since Cold War at least. Since lobby’s disband after every match, you can never connect with anybody, either on your team or the enemy. Making new friends was a huge reason to get online, now there’s no fun or reason at all but to just get fucked alone while your buddies from BO4 days and prior remain offline for years
Just had a match where I was doing so good, I was purposefully spawned in front of the same enemy that had killed me, literally 6 feet away, and he was FACING me.

The first day I got it, I was stomping everyone and carried a pretty high K/D. 53 kills in my 5th game. Yesterday and today I’ve been playing the sweaty, extremely fast moving, bunny rabbit, 360 no scope G-Fuel infused virgins and my K/D dropped by .50 lol.
My skill is soo bad that sbmm is confused on where to put me.
I figured that I’d just install zombies and campaign since I’ve been a game pass user for a while but when you work 2 jobs and have limited time to game and then that time finally comes. I look at bo6 and I just feel sick. So I go back on the ps5 and load up sparking zero because time is valuable to me.
Haven’t played CoD consistently since Cold War myself.
Downloaded BO6 because it was on PC GP. Tried MP and actually played for about 3 hours and was having some fun.
Then the ‘system’ had enough data on me and between hours 4-5 I could literally feel everything change. Got put into lobbies with kids like “Cry”, “try harder”, “git gud”, “yup no life”, and could see and feel my bullet literally do nothing. Got off and haven’t touched the game since… fuck Activision and their manipulative bullshit…
