Wow your movie was the first one up, a lot of people must have been waiting too. The trixies are so cute! That looked like a lot of fun. I can't work that fast though, you keep everything straight. I am glad you went with your first instinct and left the pots alone. That's the way you wanted to do it, that is the way it is done for that Boho look! Your opinion is what counts! Glad you are out of the basement! Were the Dahlias from seed initially, I bet they will be gorgeous. Wine Down looks really pretty. Have fun at the craft shows.
Thank you! I never done the trixies before so that was a learning experience, I probably should have put them closer together :( I hope they like the 2 different daisies in one pot, we shall see! I think the dahlias are originally from seed, we grow them from seed too but we wanted to get some plugs because they won’t take as long to grow and they will be ready in the early spring for market and have some color! I’m gonna seed some annuals for later in the season too like for the summer months have some nice color for the summer too! Thank you for watching Karen!! 🥰
I worked in a commercial greenhouse and your right about planting your plugs closer together in your hanging baskets. They look a little too far apart. Hope this helps. 😊

Another interesting video. I always enjoy them. Offering my opinion on planting two of the gerbera mix in one pot....if I were the customer, I would prefer 1 color in a pot and then put my own favorite combination together and choose to buy two pots.

Sorry for my delay in response! It is called a Seed E-Z seeder machine! We love it. It helps so much. It goes by so much faster! And it’s more consistent with dropping the seeds in the right cell! Hi Joslyn, I bet it feels great to get out of the basement and back in a he greenhouse. Spring is almost here ! Yay! I wanted to let you know that another UA-cam channel I watch is Nichole from flower hill farm said she made the mistake of planting hers on the edge like you did and she wished she would have planted them closer to the center as well because it left a big bald spot in the middle. Maybe a solution if you didn’t want to move them then you could take the extra daisy that you planted 2 per pot and wished you would have only done one and fill the center with it? Just a suggestion lol I have a couple questions, do you plant everything from seed or do you order plug trays? They all look so lush and gorgeous green. What color was your geraniums? It’s so nice to be back in the greenhouse! That’s what I was thinking too like there might end up being a big hole in the middle, I think I might go back and put them a little closer together thank you for sharing that with me. We grow all our flower garden flowers from seed and then we grow other annual items from seed like impatiens, begonias, things like that and going to have them ready for summer for some color but we got some annual plugs that I just planted so they are ready in the early spring for market and we have some early color, we could grow them from seed but they take so long and wanted to have them ready early so we got some plugs instead cuz they don’t take as long to get ready from plugs. If we would start them from seed we would have had to start heating the greenhouse a couple of months ago and it’s so expensive to heat it! We buy 2” pots of house plants and propagate them and we buy plugs of succulents and propagate them and we do seeds of them too but they take so long from seed so we do a mix of plugs and seeds! The geraniums are dark red color! Thank you for asking and for watching!! 🥰

Do you keep your entire greenhouse heated at this time?
We put up a plastic wall and not heat half of it because it’s so expensive to heat it all! Thank you for asking!
I liked the video, but it bothered me that you would plunk your trays right down on top of the ones that were already planted. I expected them to get squashed. And I thought you should have watered them as you put them on your benches because the soil looked so dry. Those Trixies are really cute!
