Peaty from 7th to 1st, crazy
Fastest breaststroke, by far, in history.
Michel Phelps & Nathan Adrian It's Gold Metal Time!
hes a legend!
Adam Peaty is a different breed indeed. He brought team gb the silver finish.
Dressel is other-worldly 🪐
James did super well tho. Second fifty of Caeleb is insane.
i say that Caeleb looka up to Adam like others do
Indeed!
twice
Dressel 49.03, fastest butterfly ever! An amazing athlete.
he said that was his best meet ever
Keep in mind that in relay’s you can time your start

I can’t wait to see team USA at the gymnastics and swimming and synchronized swimming at the 2024 summer Olympics Games in Paris France 🇫🇷
You gotta love the embrace between Murphy and Dressel. They really took it personal when they lost in 2019 and they were the leader of the team. This really meant a lot to them.
Maybe they were just sexually charged after the race
@Meagan Brooks I think the team speedo execs couldn’t wait to see them in the showers.

@@toenjoyer I m talking about 4x100 Medley relay,not 4x100 freestyle relay😃
Oh sorry i didn’t see the medley
The 2016 and 2021 medley relays really showcase Peaty's prowess. In both races the USA team had superiority in every stroke except for the breaststroke legs because of Peaty.
The exactly thing happened to Japanese team during 2003~2008 because of Kosuke Kitajima.
We dearly love both Kitajima and Adam peaty as a breaststroke in a challenging team.
Dressel's body is unreal for a swimmer.
His physique resembles bodybuilder plus swimmer.
What a body!!
Wonder what gear he uses :0
This is an Awesome Race Congratulations to the three teams, Congratulations to the United States for the Gold 🏅🤘 I remember when Jason Lezak chased down Bernard from France in Beijing and Win the Gold in WR Fashion, the USA claims another World Record 🇨🇦🇺🇸 GREAT JOB guys 🏅I Love how the Announcer says "Gold Medalists and Olympic Champions; United States of America", Love it 🏅🇨🇦🇺🇸

Dressel is just a pure talent and well athlete that no one would dare to compete to because they how prepared and determined dressel really is that's why it's hard to defeat someone who is full of determination drought for victories. He will be the next Phelp or more for sure. I can't wait see him dominates again the olympics. I LOVE YOU DRESSEL
Not quite, but great swimmer indeed. I believe it will be a long time before we see another phelps if ever
Before the race, the US team was viewed as an obvious underdog. Apple and Andrew were heavily judged, Murphy missed all the expected golds. Dressel was hoped to carry the team. The almighty British team was the clear favorite. Winning gold and breaking the world record by 0.5s is the evidence of a truly great success story.
Don’t think anyone doubted the US team would lose this...
@@emmanuel5672 you mean their heats swim? They had a completely different team swimming for them in the heats.
Lol no, they were heavy favourites. Apple's ability as a 100m freestyler wasnt questioned at all. Murphy was a solid second and a half faster than Luke Greenback in the individual 100m back and Dressel had just broken the world record in the 100m butterfly. Not quite an underdog team
Just because the prelim team screwed up doesn't mean Team USA became the underdogs, especially when all four legs were swam by different swimmers in the final.
@@dynasty0019 Actually they were, especially Apple. Andrew lost the 200 IM, 100 Breaststroke, and 50 freestyle. Murphy did not defend any of his titles. Apple got the most criticism, because it was the first time USA missed the podium (4x200 freestyle relay) with a slow time (in their standards) of 1:47.31. The coach is somewhat right: swimmers bounce back, but come back better.
Fantastic USA swimmer. Amazing. Heroes of the team USA👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Winning and breaking world record in the Olympics, from Lane 1 : A team USA thing
Lane 1 was an advantage
WR for US. 3rd best performance ever by GB. Fantastic racing.
Italy had an amazing performance for swimming in this Olympics.
I have massive respect for swimmers
thanks for this, Plz upload 100 m freestyle relay also.
GB's last 3 were absolutely lit
Murphy pretty much had the race won in the first 100. Breast was going to be big advantage to GB, fly big advantage to USA, and free close to even. Once Murphy delivered that big backstroke leg, only a very unusual event could change the outcome.
Italy and GB amazing swims.
What is the secret of US swimmers !! Adam Peaty had given a nice lead to GB, but Dressel was superb and last guy was simply outstanding in the 2nd leg
The last guy is Zach Apple
Truth is the US has a number of specialists they can plug in at will. It’s been their secret every single time they swim this relay.
The USA swam this race to dynamite perfection and GB also swum out of their skin. Both teams swimmers for each of their leg were equal, and if had deficits was spread across the team. Team USAs changeovers were second to none and almost controversial at some point (Apple on a .04) but they added up to a win and WR. Whereas Team GBs changeovers were still sublime (0.1-0.4)
@@dorisl6582 nice detailing !! Thanks😊

Duncan Scott didn't have Nathan Adrian to drag him along to that 46.1 split this time. That's the power of the draft.
True, Jason Lezak had Alain Bernard to draft for the fastest 100M split (46.06s) in history as well.

It is replacing Michael Andrew with Adam peaty. Because all the other three legs were swam by the Americans perfectly.
@@nithinjonnalagadda3470 Michael Andrew is holding American record of 100m breaststroke, so he is not bad. However, Peaty is still the best

Adam Peaty has the best body. He's really worked hard for this physique. Looks really good.
It’s having the correct attributes
Peaty was like "we again lost to this team" .In 2016 also they lost ,but this was their true chance but they could not capture it
The next 4x100m relay in Paris2024 will be a matter between these 3 Nations again. Italy team is on fire at the moment. Dressel fitness level will be crucial for the US team.
France could be in top three.
It's Gold Metal Time!
Dresel is unstoble❤
bro this thing is literally soccer vs football
Great race from the italians 🇮🇹
They only lack excellent butterfly sprinter. You can see Federico Burdisso is short compared to his teammates such as Alessandro Miressi who is very tall (202 cm).
Italy got their medal out of pure luck... just look at Russia, Rylov fucked up his backstroke completely, he was 51.9 in his individual swim, and was 52 high here in the relay. Kolesnikov didn't do his best either, he can swim a 47.1 on a flat start but only swam sth around 47.3 in this relay, so if u really do the calculations, Russia can beat Italy easily if they were in their best form
@@yibambe4ever74
But nothing of what you said has happened, you cannot create hypothetical situations, because we know that they will never come true, or at least they did not come true in this race
@@yibambe4ever74 What about 4x100m free final ? Prior to Olympic, Russia were very strong, even stronger than USA, but they failed in a disappointing way, esp due to Morozov and Kolesnikov underperformance. But we cannot ignore what Italy's performance in that free relay which was very impressive, taking the silver behind only USA.
Based on that previous free relay final, I believe their performance in this medley relay too, seeing how good were Thomas Ceccon in backstroke, Nicolo Martinenghi in breaststroke and Alessandro Miressi as the anchor.
@@lexsoft3969 LMAO dude looks like u didn't do ur homework again! Russia lost it because Kolesnikov and Rylov had just finished their 100m bk final just minutes before the relay final! Russia had no one else to put on the relay team, therefore they had to use Kolesnikov again but left out Rylov. Remember, BOTH Kolesnikov and Rylov was on the team back in 2019, which the latter anchored the free relay and won silver behind USA. U can't say that Russia is better than USA, cuz USA has undoubtedly the most experienced relay team ever! u can only say it might be close if all swimmers were in the best form. i know how good the Italians are, not questioning this, don't really need u here repeating the same stuff again and again. do some research first, then come here and talk.
Peaty carries everytime.
What is the music in the beginning called?

Great Britain was absolutely not happy. Because this was their chance to win, the same team lost to USA in 2016,now there is no phelps, no Adrian, Murphy was not in his best form. But they tear the race apart.
Not to mention GB are the defending World Champions. Duncan Scott did not have a 46.1 to draft off of this time.
@@nightflyer3242 don't say their best timings. Ryan Murphy swam 51.sth at Rio in this event, if he swam with that timing here, then Scott could not do anything.
Totally agree with you. GB team did it 3.27.51 faster than Olympic record of US team at Rio 2016. Unfortunately, US team at Tokyo did it better than them. Poor GB
@@nightflyer3242 Scott needed USA's anchor to start in adjacent lane to him like at WC 2019, but it didn't happen this time. USA learned from that loss, and chose to start away from the centre and the strategy proved to work.
Dressel and Apple can totally take over position Phelps and Adrian. That's why US still is the best team.
adam peaty and dressel love from pakistan♥️
I miss u Phelps...

Phelps win 5 gold medals in Individual race in 2008
Italy team Is very young
I have a question, when the second swimmer can start? At the moment the previous one touches the wall?
In swimming relay starts, the outgoing swimmer's toes can leave the blocks when the incoming swimmer is within -0.03 of a second from touching the wall. That's the minimum gap allowed for relay exchange. If the gap is -0.04 or more, then it's a disqualification.
@@nightflyer3242 How to know time 0.03s to come?
@@alwaysinmymind181 there are sensors on the starting block and touchpad so they know when you take off
@@dawnkoh4249 Thanks, but I also wondered why the 2nd athlete can know when their teammate the 1st athlete next to wall 0.3s
@@alwaysinmymind181 it doesn’t necessarily have to be 0.03s, u can take however long u want to. How they know when to dive in is when the teammate touches the wall. But since this is a relay changeover, they allow for maximum -0.03s of reaction time. Usually in an individual race, the average reaction time is about 0.6s
