It's quite annoying, isn't it? I find it's a bit better if I really load up the gel brush with polish but it's still always applies better with a polish bottle brush 😂
You might find it easier to use cyan, magenta, and yellow, the true primary colors when you're working in a physical media. A sienna can help knock the brightness out of them easily. Oto Kano has a series on mixing primaries for people who want to go deeper into this 😊 CMYK are the primary colors when you're using physical pigments as you did here. Red-yellow-blue are the colors light is made of, confusing isn't it :) Like the idea to mix your own nude this way, thank you
I love all the colours you made. 👌 Thank you for the tips, Blessings from Scotland. 🙏🏴🌺 Edit UR Sugar has them kinda shades on wish or Amazon, it's really nice gel too. 💅
Yes! A lot of people mix acrylic powders to make whatever Colors they want! Be sure to test your acrylic too. Some look a lot lighter in the container then come out brighter once used.
@@peachie_dollie Thank you for responding... can I ask the same question but with more clarification... can I purchase the red, blue, yellow, black, and white pigment powders to get the same nude color results once I play around with them the same as you did with the gel? ♥️♥️♥️
Yes, not something I would do for every client 😂 maybe just on request if they are looking for a super specific colour, maybe just for brides. It goes a lot quicker than I did in this video, I'm just a bit out of practice 😁
Brilliant. I love nudes, but there's always something not quite there.... I'll try to bring on the 💛. Thank you. And you have a lovely soothing, patient voice
@@FrancesFawcettNailArtist You're not trying to hard if this is what you're passionate about. Loved the video, also you have such a soothing voice. Blessings from Scotland. 🙏🏴🌺
Glad to know it’s not just me with the patchy application using a gel brush! 😅

That middle colour is similar to lady like by essie.... that's not gel polish though.... but you can mix it into a clear gel if need be.

Great job although I think you trying too hard.
Sorry, I just have an obsession with nudes 😬
I for one, really appreciate the video so I can hopefully stop buying nudes and try to mix my own. 👋🤎🙏

Weird critique, to be frank... Have you considered that perhaps *you* are not trying hard enough?
