I love it when he says a word I think is made up and realize I'm just dumb.
I know I'm quite late to the party, and my comment will be missed, but I will say: I keep seeing people saying farming is useless and skipping out, because 'food isn't important'. But the thing is, farming in this isn't really -for- food.
Farming gives you:
The best early game xp. The best xp until shrines, really. Cutting plants gives half the xp of rocks and trees while taking only one quick slice. Planting fields and running through them slashing gives tons of xp. Also there is often an early game xp+ for gathering boon from an island.
The best early game money.
Once you snag a market, cooked food sells for a ton of money. Even more when you snag a perk.
Landfill! Super valuable, requires farming.
Shovels are useful.
Meanwhile, rushing mining lasers hamstrings your xp production, without really giving you any production bonus beyond "can play the game without looking".
Getting interest by investing money into the banks should probably be on the list of feedback/suggestions you send to the developer.
Hey People of Foraging.
I have some tips for ya guyz.
The Crystal Sword is best for farming XP and Materials
Mining Rods + Ballistas on the Fire Lands and the Graveyard is the best way to Lazily farm for XP and Materials
The Skull Maze has an Dark shrine which can give you a Droid in exchange for one heart.
Certain Feats give you special abilities (Quiver,Vampyre Wings,Fairy Aura,etc.)
oh and farming for XP becomes Hella BS so use Mining rods and Ballistas
to give you a hint,I am level 41 and levling up takes 26295 XP.

The fastest way imo just do the inscription table > novice scroll > sage scroll. The sage scroll gives you experience. You just need alot of seaweed, cactus fruit and jelly for green pigments
making bank is far more better then making coin >< wallet also works on banks too

I avoided automation this time around. I just bought droids after building a ton of markets. It was swords before that. You can cut through the map fast enough with a crystal or demon sword. But with enough droids everything vanishes and you can just use the shovel and keep looking for artifacts and plastic.

Yea get the thing above markets so you can sell all the stuff you don't need instantly, especially slime or stone gets you rich reeeally soon since there's so much of it

I don’t know how to report bugs so I’m just going to write it here and hope you see it,
Whenever you place a storage and then destroy it by buying a new island it turns into a hit box that if you touch it or hover over it the game crashes
I'm wondering if you can do a video explaining what th hint to solve puzzles mean. I obviously figured out the binary one. It's the circular ones with numbers I can't figure out (pressing down pillars in sequence). That's the only thing I can't figure out...
If we are talking about the same puzzle here: you need more than 1 clue from different places for that one.

Gas stoves are the greatest because they heat so fast
Well, they heat up quickly, they don't actually heat things any faster than electric. Downside to gas stoves is higher temperatures require larger pots/pans, they also don't come in flat-top models you can treat as a normal counter top and are a much larger firehazard.
The nice thing about gas stoves is they usually still work even if the power goes out, just throw a lit match in or use a piece of pasta (ie spaghetti) to light it if it has an electric ignition.

It seems like he is using one recorded stream for all of these and then post 1 every day tbh it's kinda irritating but otherwise I do enjoy his videos
It's a lot easier for me to record massive amounts of content in one sitting instead of trying to do some kind of daily piecemeal rotation. Not to mention the fact that this game cannot be played in small bites- at least I can't. It's the one more turn mentality, but as an incremental game instead.
