    Where I can find the exact diode? I've used IGBT but results are different. Please tell me whag type of diode is in pv model and boost converter circuit?

      I've tried all diodes available but other than IGBT all of them are not connecting with the circuit, showing red connnection line. I don't know why. Please guide me through the process.

    what is the value of inductor?? my boost circuit output is very low compared to the solar output.

      Hi Muneeb, I was studying this topic long ago for a course. I tried different models including this. But I don't remember if it worked or not.

    u used simple diode for modelling solar panel but the voltage across the diode typically lies from 0 to 0.7 in forward bias. So how can u get high voltages across output of solar

      You need to clear your basic fundamentals, 0.7 V is typical on state voltage, means that a minimum voltage for make turn on diode as silicon material, not for conduction voltage, and once it's get ON it consider as short circuit, and once is short circuited voltage will become 0V, so that time you should select higher ampere diode like 100A, 200A diode, and voltage blocking capacity is different thing, you can also buy 200 V , to 1000 V diode in any range. So you are little confused about diode i hope this information is enough for you

      I want to say that at 3:52 the model of PV is containing a diode but when the PV panel will give current to any load then that will be provided by Iph or IL and some parts of Iph will also flow through diode and thus would make it forward bias and will make voltage across diode equal to zero but at the same time the voltage across the PV can be anything from zero to open ckt voltage depending on the load.
