As someone who’s been watching since 91, let me be brutally honest with you. The goal post keeps moving because wrestling fans are always stuck in the past. When the attitude era was ending, no one liked the RA era. Everyone said Cena and Edge weren’t any good and cheap rip off replacement for Rock and Austin. Guess what? @@jamiek9780 Speaking for myself (I can't speak for everyone), what I didn't realise during the RA Era, was I was experiencing Nostalgia. But this new Era, it's boring, and it's not like I stopped watching 10 years ago and came back, I probably stoped watch full time and religious during 2020, since then I've become a part time watcher. But I'll look at the card of a ppv now, and not really care about who wins, there is no emotion any more that makes me want to pick a side. The benefit (and I'm going off track now) to having a Heel champion, is you can create the chase type storyline e.g. I was never bored watching anyone the on Brock Lesnar or Reigns for the title (that's something they did right), but since Cody isn't a legitimate tough guy, there is no challenge, someone in his situation should be a Heel, he should not be to beat Lesnar clean (which he did).
@@jamiek9780 Also what would help is not having it be predictable, it is possible to have random title exchanges without demeaning the title, and this is where heels/MITB comes in, just have it randomly happen during an episode of RAW, Wrestlemania doesn't need to be the stage where you crown the next champion. Having KO beat Cody for the title would have been a surprise, and who didn't watch would of regretted it.
@ChrisJohnson-x1x I’m sure they’ll eventually return to that style but currently they’re in a tough spot. Following Roman’s title run, they probably want to make sure the next title reign is substantial. Following up a 4 year run with hot potatoing would devalue the prestige that came from Roman having a strangle hold over it. As if the moment Roman lost, now everyone finally has a chance to win it, when actually, they need the next title holder to have a substantial run or else it just feels like no one else held it simply because Roman had it. I’m sure Cody’s going to lose it very soon, and the next guy will hold it for a bit short than Cody, and so on and so forth until we can get to a point where surprises can be normalized. As for the world title, it was a brand new title. Seth needed to carry it for a while to build its reputation, losing it at WM just made sense, and then we’ve had some title changes on B teir events as well. Gunther is bound to lose it soon as well, but like I said, it’s a new title. They can’t be hot potatoing it right now. We’ve already seen a shock IC title switch a few months ago. These things need time, that’s why they’re surprises. Cody winning and using heel tactics, and KO taking the winged eagle is a sound option if it’s setting up a final match. I can see KO winning this time as I can’t imagine Cody winning 3-0
And now Austin theory fell off after he failed the cash in on the United States champion agasint Seth Rollins, he had the worst tag team partner Grayson Waller, the worst tag team champions
You cant blame WWE for putting in as little effort as possible and getting people to tune in because they make some insider references and have some technically sound yet pointless matches. It is a dire state of affairs
I don't understand why the marriage's/children of the performers who play the Wrestlers on TV are acknowledged, I don't understand why the lines are blurred. Why does Cody Rhodes have the same wife as Cody Rubio-Runnels? Why is Jimi Uso and James Fatu both married to Trinity Fatu? Then they all are happy to do non-kayfabe interviews with CVV, where WWE will acknowledge said interviews. It would be like Batman being being called Robert Patinson instead of Bruce Wayne, where half way through the film Batman acknowledge's the person life of Robert Paterson outside of Batman, even making references to non-kayfabe interviews with Jimmy Fallon/Kimmel, where does Batman end and Robert Patinson begin. It's kind if like when Sami Zayn (as Heel) got a fan kicked out of a House Show for calling him a homophobic slur during his entrance, who kicked him out, the Heel Sami Zayn, or the Canadian Muslim who plays the Sami Zayn character.
All Hunter and TK have done in the last 10 years is hire a bunch of out of shape, charismaless indie darlings who have no star power and have no potential to have star power and whine about everything, the estrogen levels in modern wrestlers are at an all time high, which is not surprising cause so few of them hit the gym🤷🏾♂️, the matches are sloppier and botchier than ever cause these guys watched Jeff Hardy, Shelton Benjamin and John Morrison do aerial moves on TV and thought because they can tumble on their trampoline they're capable of doing that, and ignoring the fact that you need to be a premier athlete to do that🤷🏾♂️...
You can't save Wrestling when 99% of the industry leans to the far left political side like the IWC, and you got guys like Tony Khan and Nick Khan keeping the industry alive (Nick with business deals, TK with his billions of dollars). Noseman needs to get fired, and Tony needs to admit he needs bookers that aren't politically biased. TnA is still going to be a joke, but I hope it improves. Wrestling is like Fighting Games: it can't be saved because of their communities, influencers, and respective companies don't want to fix anything Wrestling has to be in dire straights for a change to happen. Look at Disney being in panic mode for a long time because their parks and media are doing very poorly. Raw is not going to wow people on Netflix and once Noseman adds the third hour to Raw and Smackdown (bringing back for Raw's case), Smackdown is done for. Nobody, including the biggest smark, has time to watch over 15 hours of wrestling in one day, let alone a week. 2 nights of ppvs like Rumble and MiTB are bad ideas. Oh yea, Raw is going to be filmed all over Europe for the European soyjak smarks (e.g. Wrestletalk, What Culture), so good luck trying to watch this live.
It cannot be saved. When the network failed they decided to go further into giving the smarky fans what they want while the wwe brand still has enough name recognition where they can syndicate raw and smackdown around the world. That's where 70% of the money is coming from and why they put out so much content every week. I believe they knew by 2016 that it was over so they decided to do things the way they did.
I'm with you the hater we need to make wrestling better and acceptable from the NFL the music industry you know? Basketball Stars don't even show up anymore we don't even have concerts anymore... First thing we need to do is explain how Triple H is making his company fail on TV😂

@@jamiek9780
Also what would help is not having it be predictable, it is possible to have random title exchanges without demeaning the title, and this is where heels/MITB comes in, just have it randomly happen during an episode of RAW, Wrestlemania doesn't need to be the stage where you crown the next champion.
It can be saved but depends on the mindset ( not even culture of it or the booking)
Wrestling doesn’t need saving. HHH is doing an amazing job.
Austin Theory was on top of the world with Vince McMahon Mitb and United States Champion he beat Rollins and Lashley and both of them beat Reigns
And now Austin theory fell off after he failed the cash in on the United States champion agasint Seth Rollins, he had the worst tag team partner Grayson Waller, the worst tag team champions
@angelo9534 Why do you always find yourself in my comment bar
Hater came in hot first day 2025
Agreed, Wrestling needs saving seriously, Quality Over Quantity
Wrestling the worst it’s ever been is a stretch I would say from 2015 - 2020 but it is low quality
2016 2015 and 2017 were definitely better. don’t remember 2018 2019 much.

Wrestling is like Fighting Games: it can't be saved because of their communities, influencers, and respective companies don't want to fix anything
Wrestling has to be in dire straights for a change to happen.
You can't save something that's been dead for so long
It cannot be saved.
2025. Year of The Hater 🎉🎉🎉
I ceased being a wrestling fan in 2014.
Will there be a face reveal of The Hater in 2025?
He keeps himself hidden. - His features resemble the Elephant Man.
Your stats on the ratings from 2009 to now is void because of streaming and UA-cam. Everyone had cable back then duhhhh
everything feels so cheap nowadays compared to past generations
Hey Hater, i have been subbed to your channel for a while now . Good luck with expanding your channel and influence.
I'm with you the hater we need to make wrestling better and acceptable from the NFL the music industry you know? Basketball Stars don't even show up anymore we don't even have concerts anymore... First thing we need to do is explain how Triple H is making his company fail on TV😂

Wow, i also love ac milan like the hater. My favourite team. Agree, its sh*t now. Ac milan in its heyday was the best club in the world.
Ac milan under arrigo sacchi from late 80s to early 90s is the GREATEST club team of all time ahead of guardiola's barca. And my all time favorite player, the swan of utrecht, marco van bssten played for them.
I just got my best friend to see how lazy wrestling has become. I feel like I’m the same as you. It was fun to watch and then I started to realize how serious it is that hhh is killing this. Even if the views ever become high again this is so unwatchable. It’s going to be only neckbeards and content creators who have no taste whatsoever and call everything they watch good so they can keep them views coming it’s truly sad
Unfortunately wrestling has reached the point of no return when it comes to wrestling becoming cool again.
That said, I’m looking forward for more Hater content.
Roman has had a pretty lackluster 2024. He was only in 6 matches total, with only the Night 2 of Wrestlemania match as the only singles match. Roman just doesn't feel cool anymore.
It can’t be saved. Wrestling died in early 2000s

Roman reigns is the one saving wrestling right now! Everyone here only watches wwe products because of the tribal cheif! That’s a fact.
He’s better than rock, big ratings guy. Without him, nobody here would give a shit about wwe! Acknowledge that!☝️
OK, Roman reigns meat rider 😂😂😂 whatever you say you big woman reigns meat writer woman reigns meat, writer. 😂😂😂😂😂
Wwe & pro wrestling in general is no one's favorite product to watch! As much as i enjoy wwe, i know there are shows, movies & sports more entertaining then wrasslin.

Stuck in the past yet WWE has been trash for 16 years 😂 OKAY my guy
@KnucklesWTD there will never be anything more needy than anime. No joke. It is nerdier than even star trek and all that other crap. At least wrestling was cool at some point. Anime has been nerdy ALWAYS

@@thehater6189 Anime is way more popular than Wrestling and actually mainstream now
@@thehater6189stuck in the past maybe it's because modern WWE is so unwatchable. Don't get me wrong I understand there's some decent wrestlers like Roman for example but old WWE just has more intense storylines and better wrestlers and gimmicks and some of the best promos too.
CM punk is a needle mover, he out drew Jericho, Edge, Christian, Big show and Henry, and Sting. He got Aew back up to over a million. I get you dislike the guy, but come on lol. I dislike him too and have no problems admitting he draws more than a lot of people who are considered draws.
