Dot:You killed my dearest Friend
Ethel: Am I a joke to you
poor scripting 🤣
I think she meant most recently since Ethel?
@@BuckleyDiazClan maybe but If my dearest friend died they'd probably still be my dearest friend
@@weeeeee4844 Yeah true. Maybe both of them could be her dearest friends. I thought they had pretty much a love/hate relationship
@@BuckleyDiazClan Hang on wasn't Lou Beale and Dot best friends in the early years?
June Brown, she was such an iconic actress, she was like a mother to every actor/actress she worked with, she will not be forgotten, she will be missed and remembered
*Fun Fact:*
In Albert Square, it’s completely normal to fall out of a window, fall off a roof, etc.
Why the comma? .... Erm... okay.
And if you want realism maybe watch documentaries? I mean far be it from me to call you a moron for bitching about a soap opera being.... well... a soap opera. Next you will be making dumb comments about how football games are too active... Fucking moron.
It's also a natural occurance to get caught in a house fire and for everyones houses when on fire they always explode! And pretty much for people getting hit by cars a natural occurance 😂
I like how evrey one was like "another typical day in albert square"
So touching how Jim hugged that sweet little girl
John Bardon RIP was a brilliant actor.
Alex The chef yep
He also killed joey the budgie 🤣🤣🤣
Well she is his great granddaughter.
@@telecontarnot any more.
So, he just falls out the window and everyone's just like 'Okay.' As if it's just an ordinary, everyday thing to fall from a window.
He didn't fall out with Dot at least.
They didn't even run over to check to see if he was still alive.
Jennifer Kelly well it’s normal In Hollyoaks lmao
It is just an ordinary day for these people. Nothing but disfunction and chaos all the time.
I love how Joe is like “ooh” as he hits the ground as well, expressing mild surprise over falling to his death 😆
Best excuse for murder ever: "She almost asked for it!"
WolfieMcMuffin I'm not quite sure that would wash with the crown court!!
in fairness she did, she questioned his manhood by saying he didn't have what it takes to hit her with a frying pan. I don't know what the hell the writers were thinking...her whole character just became a caricature of complete misery in the end.
@@alexjones1985 it wasn't murder though, manslaughter more like. He never intentionally tried to kill her, it was an assault that went wrong really.
🤣🤣
Well,.... she kinda did....
Good old Jim. Rest in peace, John Bardon.
This was funny the way everyone just stood there looking after he fell out the window 😂😂😂as if it's normal lol
Oh have you seen it happen in real life and thus no what the normal response is?
I have... Most people do just stand there in shock because it isn't normal so they don't know how to react.
And also... Isn't this Eastenders? Or have I clicked on a video for a documentary?
"I can believe that a pastor can become a deranged killer, believe that Martin and others like Ben Mitchell can completely change appearance and even that two sisters can drown on the day of one of their weddings... But this I find incredulous!"
Don't ever watch Jurassic Park or Transformers. It will make you angry that the dinosaurs don't have feathers and that robots with sentience can exist...
In some parts of London it is normal...
Hit with a frying pan AND died from a brain haemorrhage.
Pauline and Arthur were soulmates after all.
This storyline was so contrived. Joe Macer was the most unconvincing murderer Albert Square has produced!
Most of 2006 and of 07 were subject to terrible writing and boring characters, poor wendy richards suffered a terrible exit storyline as the writers turned her into a complete monster and unlikeable, hardened battle axe by the end. 2008-10 was a golden era for the show with some of its best stuff ever. Then again 2011-13 went back downhill again, 2014 put the show back on the map again.
Noo 2010 was the shows best year
u were saying
TBF, Pauline would drive Gandhi to murder.
2003-06 was kind of bad.
2010 was hit-and-miss
@@Hulk2k6 2010 was 1 of best years on record, 2005 was epic too
Man they sure have cheap windows in eastenders lmfao!
Look at how Tom King was killed when he was thrown out of the Window on Emmerdale.
Arthur neglected the windows...good old Jim ..a saviour..well done
Half-glazed
Now that's one way to make a quick exit.
Yep Joe was exit was smashing
Ba dum tss xD
And this big shocking cliff hanger was resolved by the start of the next episode. I remember thinking they'd left an episode out by mistake.
Am I the only one that hated this exit? Pauline was the witch at the end and Joe was actually a decent guy, he finally stood up for himself and hit her, after she egged him on, he didn't mean to actually kill her. Letting Sonia take the blame and getting killed off like he was a villain and a murderer, that was terrible writing.
I'm going to hell for laughing at this when he went through window 😂
Dot Branning is a brilliant woman.
2:43 RIP to the invisible lion that fell out with Joe and gave one last roar
that was Joe
Did Dot say to Joe, " you will go to hell "? 🤣
0:28 I love how he says "don't" 😂
aww, I miss hearing Jim speak :(
:(
"Pauline's brain drowned in its own blood" Love you dot but...too graphic.
I remember Harry Hill mocking that sentence on TV Burp... "Yeah, does that come with chips?
@@TheReservedGamer they mocked it too at the 07 soap awards, the audience erupted in laughter including wendy richards
I like the Old Eastenders was better Story lines in them days. They had some good Actors then.
this was 2006-early 2007-this was a really bad era for the show. Was not until late 07 that it recovered.
Drama started showing the old episodes of eastenders now
I remember watching this as a kid and never properly knew if Joe tripped or if Jim pushed him, or if Joe just decided to kill himself. I remember being so disappointed when he was dead in the next episode after that revelation. Though it helped me realize how anticlimactic EastEnders can be.
Well, The Police ruled it as an accidental death.
Well, it’s both. Jim pushed him off of Dot, which made him trip. Simple, really.
I just was introduced to Eastenders!!!" I am watching the episodes thru or PBS Channel here in NYC. It's awesome my husband and myself are hooked!!!"
@EastEnders can you please upload the scene where the police seize Pauline’s door stop and Dot says to Pauline “they’ve arrested Betty?!” That has me in stitches
It never show him hit Pauline
Jim's face makes me laugh at the end
Who knew old people could be so violent.
They can.
Joe's death scene got messy at the end when his body crashed on top of the market stall.
How thin was that window?! damn!
Wow they have really crap windows in eastenders
Jim to the locals: "Don't worry people, he fell out against us!"
OH MY GOD! IS THE WINDOW ALRIGHT!?
I watched the EE from 1985 in 1985 on PBS. It then was picked up on satellite and some cable channels. I watched it concurrent with the years.
A struggle where Jim pulled dot from the front and most probably moved his hand where Joe Stumbled Backwards, they should have made it where Jim punched him and joe fell out the window
Wasn't the actor who played Joe the same actor who did the voice narration for 1970's children's tv series Mr Ben?
I miss Jim. God bless him.
Me too.
One of the best characters on that show
Love this video! Love how Dot goes "your going to confess your sins."
Dot was furious with Joe and rightfully so. Her best friend, Pauline is gone, and Joe got his retribution. :)
Albie
I'm sorry but, I COULD WATCH JOE FALLING OUT THE WINDOW ALL DAY! HAHAHAHAHAHA.... I'm evil. :)
That frying pan has seen decent action over the years on the square
Well that's the end of that talk then.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
yes that would be good to see the old episodes on there. I have the bbc I player but the videos go after a few days.
this is why we have windowsills
'pauline's brain drowned in its own blood'-haha prob 1 of the funniest lines ever
2:42-2:50 NICE OF YOU TO DROP IN!!!
Fantastic ending, 😳💀😂😈
Good old Jim to the rescue
LOL, I had that Nokia Dot's using.
agreed the writers did a terrible injustice to her in her later years and turned her into a monster.
That's EastEnders (or any soap opera) for you, turn a likeable character into a hated character.
pauline was a legend.
this is really serious and can led to charges and is bad.
Yes.
''Pauline's brain drowned in its own bloody.''
Sounds like a punch line from the days of our lives in friends.
oooh! i never remember seeing this!
god when pauline died my granmother started to cry
yes when Peggy left in 2010 I actually cried, it is weird but when you watch the characters for so many years they become strangely like family and friends, you become attached to them. Completely ridiculous I know;I recall reading a study which showed that when a tv series ends like Friends] viewers can show symptoms of grieving and mourning.
good video will upload 👍
Bet eastenders cant do viewing figures like back in the 90s. Soaps back then were great.
@rjconnolly64 I have noticed this. EastEnders charectors seem to die within 10 years. Coronation Street charectors some of them run more than 20 years and most of them tend to leave town when they exit rather than go to the grave unlike EastEnders.
mattfrye1 EastEnders characters seem to die within ten years-except Ian Beale and Dot Branning, who are immortal! They'll still be around when Martin and Stacey's daughter Hope and baby Abi are old women!
Dot has now left
Aired on 26th January 2007
Cont'd) ...I'm so glad to have been born in the USA. I get to see both current AND past "EE" episodes. In my opinion the best import Britain ever gave, other than Shakespeare and Shelly.
Now, to the comic part. I loved this clip sooo much, I scrolled down to get other people's reactions. However, everyone seems to have missed the instant when Joe is pushed backward and is about to crash through the window, in a lighting-fast split second, he instinctively grabs his whiskey bottle. Priceless!!!
For a moment I thought I was watching The Omen
it is like something from that era, watching this it's hard to believe it's as recent as 2007. It looks like something from 1982.
Why does Jim lean out of the smashed window? "Yep, 'e's dead." Could anyone have survived that?
He didn't fall that far and the market stall roof broke the fall.
Jim leaned out the window so he could have the doof doof shot.
Andrew Chapman amazing😍🙌🏻
tbh if someone had fallen out the window in front of me i think my first reaction would be to lean out and check!
lol nah not cruel, its just a natural thing, you'd be in shock and check to see, as if you're thinking 'did that really just happen?' its the fastest way you'd be able to check if they were still alive or not... running down the stairs and out the door would take a lot longer!
What really happened:
Dot: You deleted the Teletubbies off Sky1 planner!!
Guy who falls out window: I didnt!!
Dot: Confess your sins!
Guy: No I didnt delete it!!
Dot: Then say goodbye to the remote! Never to record again! (throws remote out window)
Guy: NOOOO (jumps out window)
Guy: Oh poo wrong remote.... SHUT UP WITH THAT THEME SONG I'M NOT DEAD! OH WAIT... I AM.
His name is Joe Macer
So that's why he was Bashing Branning
How filthy the walls are!
I miss good old jim and dot
Me too.
She did ask for it she did it Arthur
Miss Jim Bardon such a funny man
Pauline Dot’s dearest friend? What happened to Ethel
Wow how "rebecca" has changed
why was Jim alarmed at dot at the window? she looked like she was trying to either fix or open the window-she hardly looked like she was in distress.
well it's not every day you would see dot doing something like that tbf.... she did kinda look like she wanted to get out :)
Maybe Jim thought dot needed help with the window
Quite possibly Eastenders most ridiculous storyline and worst exit. Pauline turns evil, there's a who dunnit storyline for her death (although we only found out it was a who dunnit the episode the killer was revealed) then the killer somehow fell through a window to his death, and was never mentioned again! It was blatantly trying to copy Emmerdale's fantastic, "Who Killed Tom King?" storyline which was also around the same time as this. 2006/2007 was a bad time for Eastenders.
It was around this time I first stopped watching EastEnders. I did start watching it again in 2010, but then stopped watching again in 2012.
Alot of 2006-2007 was bad patch for the show, xmas 2007 put the show back on the throne again where it stayed very well for 3 solid years before going back into the doldrums in 2011. 2014- mid 2016 were good but then it has been hit or miss since that, I cannot say I was a big fan of sean o'connor's work-think he damaged the show in many ways and was beyond stupid to kill off ronnie mitchell.
Shane Folan how about 2005?
@@anoncollins8226 loved 05.
I miss Jim so much.
Hes not the same since the stroke, will he ever recover?
RIP John Bardon
Oh my
SOMEBODY should have bought double glazing windows!
This seems so rushed
This was uploaded on my birthday haha!
how did he kill her
i miss pauline
jim used to remind me of the tweenies lol
Looks like Charlie from casualty
I feel sorry for Rebecca it must be hard being the only child knowing your cousins have siblings

I thought Pauline died in the square, during a snow storm?
She was hit by Sonia then Joe hit her off screen and she died in the square.

"It's the bloke from Mr Benn"
Dot:You killed my dearest Friend
Lou Beale: What about me bitch?
2:41 I'm evil I know.
joe macer pushed out of the top window, being the same as tom king.
the audio of this video sounds like an episode of rainbow.
Dot. What about Michelle she is motherless too
You even had joe macers death
