DISCLAIMER: I completely understand that there's no way to know 100% at this time (June 2021) if the "real" pair are genuine or not. Even though I bought them through a trusted plug and believe them to be real, I did not buy directly from Nike or Travis Scott, which is the only way to know for sure. Regardless these are the areas to look for when spotting fakes.

The reps I just got are spot on to your real ones. For the record, i have no problem paying retail for shoes, I’ll even pay resale up to a point. I’m certainly not going to pay $3000 for a pair of shoes that I can get spot on reps for $100 and only someone with a magnifying glass can spot the differences. I’m going to sell them, I just want to wear them.

I am not ashamed to say I bought the replicas of these. They look fucking identical and cost me a fraction of the price no one is gunna pull out a magnifying glass and tell me they are fake. Shit I bet Travis Scott himself couldn't tell the difference lol

This was a great insight for some of us who are newer to the game. Really interesting to see the blue light section. I've seen this on YT shows like cams kicks and never really knew what they were looking out for. They also shine the blue light on the sole of the shoe and looking for some sort of stamp. Is this something you'd also reccomend doing?
new to the game? Homie, spend a few hours researching the best sellers on DHgate. Everyone will comment on how nice your shoes are, you don't have to worry about spilling shit on them, and no one will ever call you out for wearing reps. I have authentic pairs, and I have UA pairs, and no one ever called out any shoe I wear.
The only rule to the game is not being the guy who sells reps for full price. Enjoy the lifestyle, and really even if you're rich don't spend thousands on shoes that cost $5 dollars to make.

Try comparing the pink laces of the OG TS1 high to the pink on the TS1 frags, what I've noticed everytime I've compared my retails to reps the pink laces of fakes has a hint of purple in the pink, or just do the right shoe rocking motion test

It is hard these days to spot a fake pair, I would think these are 1:1 because the R and D on the Jordan logo should be connected 12:11. That is just one of the things that I am checking before I buy a pair for resell. I wouldn't buy a pair if one of the check boxes isn't checked. Nice quality video by the way.
Definitely isn't easy - thanks for watching. A lot of the better quality fakes seem to miss on the outer-sole colour and finish too. Only a month to wait for the GR so we'll see then 😊

You realize reps come in 3 tiers. UA, 1:1, and budget! Sometimes it's called different but the higher the price the closer the shoe is to authentic.

Problem is your video requires us to have a real pair to see many of the difference. Without a real pair how do we tell the shade of blue is ever so darker. The placement is alittle bit higher, etc.

i just went back to back with two videos and in this video the nike swoosh logo is pointer and longer than the fake but than when i go the other video, the real ones have a short swoosh and on the fake the nike swoosh was longer pointer swoosh.. like what....

Instead, he says "see they can't be fakes cause I bought these fakes and as you can see they are different." As if fakes don't differ in quality and as if there is a single replica factory making all replicas to the same specifications.
The best part of this is I have a pair of fakes that are as good as the 'real' ones he's supposedly showing us. They pass all the same tests, but I know they're reps, cause I bought them from a rep vendor.

You cannot compare a dhgate replica because the high tier reps look almost like retail you need to get on one of those websites where they have high quality reps and compare cuz you could very well have a replica then again who knows and who cares

That's what you get for dhgate quality you get decent replicas but of course they're going to look so different because you're comparing you know a dhgate version versus you know another shoe that could be real or could be fake and I don't really care cuz it's all the same to me, I see people been doing this for 20-30 years and they couldn't even tell what they were holding was a replica shoe they thought it was a retail shoe and they were blown away when they were told

At this point really just give every shoe a serial number and the matching water mark of the repeated serial number on the bottom sole and the box. Unless, you have a REAL pair to compare yours to, these type of comparison video doesn't do me any good... What if I got something thats 50% similar to the fake on in this video and 50% to the real one?

I've always been the type of person who was heavily against fakes, but my stance has softened significantly this year. For s shoe like this where the replicas are so well and the originals are so hard to get like...this shoe ain't worth 3 grand, it's a dope shoe but some on. Hell it's not worth $500, no shoe is (IMO) so for me to pay outrageous resell on a shoe it's just not happening. But getting a replica for a fraction of the cost that's virtually identical, fuck it. If you told me every Nike original shoe came out looking EXACTLY the same and you can easily tell a replica just by looking at this or that then sure. Videos like this are pure speculation because Nike has such inconsistent printing on its shoes. Call me lame or corny or broke if you want, I have no problem being labeled as such but I will tell you what i'm definitely not stupid paying $3000 for a fucking pair of shoes that i'm sure some Nike employees probably wouldn't be able to tell if they were real or fake if put to the test

My thing is if you got 10 original pair They would all not be the same. These shoes are handmade they’re never gonna be perfect.
Respectfully, there is no way for you to tell that the sneakers that you have are 100% authentic. Even Nike came out and said that they can’t guarantee it.
That is why they have sued Stock X and GOAT and are going to sue eBay in the near future because they claim that their products are 100% legit.
I know several people that sell sneakers too celebrities, entertainers, basketball players, and etc. You wanna know a little secret? They are selling them extremely high quality reps.
Also, how can you tell that your shoes are legit when you can’t even go into a Nike store and get two of the same pairs of sneakers and they look alike. The QC on Nike sneakers has been terrible and has gotten even worse over the last 3-5 years.
I am not saying that your sneakers are not real, but there is a very high chance that they are not as well. This is coming from someone that has been collecting sneakers for over 20 years.

If you have bought from Stock X, GOAT, and the list goes on, then you definitely have at least 1 pair of reps in your inventory. GOAT has their own factory in China. If it comes from that factory then they gotcha. GOAT is not affiliated with Nike, so how do they have their own factory. Let that sink in.
I think you got a low-quality replica and you're giving the originals way too much credit. They're also heavily flawed, which is why resellers have a difficult time legit checking...
