    3 Simple Rules:
    1. Imagine yourself as a single parent. Would you still want that child?
    2. Imagine if you d!e after birthing or when the child is born (fathers). Who would you leave that child with?
    3. Imagine you lose your job and everything gets repossessed or taken away overnight. Would you have someone who can literally immediately take you in with your child?

For real. You are an intelligent woman. A lot of women don't think about these things.
Motherhood is a lonely and thanksless job. Even when you're married. Women need to be selfish with our bodies and our time because men can just walk away unscathed. It's tough out there.

I think as black females we should reconsider this growing practice of having kids before marriage. We have normalised it. I am a single mom, and it is difficult. White folks are not compromising on this standard. Marriage first. Hope young girls will choose differently than us.

@thelazysnapper Remember we are not like yt people. We don't have the luxury of being single parents, yet we continue to do this. Most of us come from broken homes or/and poverty. The country with the highest percentage of single parents in the world is in Scandinavia. They plan to be single parents and the fathers do not abandon their kids. Also bare in mind that these are rich countries with world class free education and health care. As black women we are still trying to take our families out if poverty and do not need to willingly bring a child into a difficult situation knowing that the kid will be the one that bares the consequences and trauma. My father had multiple kids with multiple women and it ensured that I never saw him and he never contributed to my life in any positive way except trauma of watching my mom struggle to raise me. Black women need to watch out for themselves because no one else will.

SPEAK Owamie!!! I think we need a segment about dating men with power (money, political, business) and the dynamics of those relationships. People with power are dangerous, they can make grievances disappear... Women must understand that these men will bring the mentality they have out there in the world into the relationship. If power makes them be discriminatory (sexist, classist, homophobic) they will be like that with you.
Finally, public sector psychologist/therapists are the BEST!!! Get the help you need.

For me my advice is that Women do better for yourself, take very good care of your health physically and mentally. Have a job or create jobs for yourself. Don’t ever share your money with partners/boyfriend/husband e.t.c and take care of your kids no matter what. And please please seek/ask for help in times of any kind of hardship and move away from abusers🙏

Vett men properly, date them with your legs closed so the sex doesn’t cloud your judgement, let him earn the right of passage to your womb by becoming your husband first. Black women are the face of single motherhood globally, there is obviously something we are doing differently than other races of women & its not working in our benefit. Yt women, date get to know the guy, go on birth control get married only start having kids after 2/3yrs of settling in marriage. Black women: date a man, have sex with him bcos you like him, if he doesn’t use protection you get pregnant, if he proposes marriage, you’ll marry him cos u have a child with him & ignore all the red flags. Thats IF he marries you, you leave it to the man to leave his seed in you, very few black women are proactive with birth control before their 1st child.

    Dear Woman,
It takes two to create a child but only you will carry that offspring and therefore always make sure to have Plan B (your own money) if you choose to engage in sexual activities outside of the perimeters of matrimony. Nowadays I dare say have your own money even if you are married. May the young lady’s soul rest in peace. May this tragedy plant the seed of fair and dedicated parenthood in this man

ladies I hope non of you ever has to go through this, but there is no due diligence when it comes to relationships, we just hope and pray to God that we are dealing with a sensible partner, however these are things that happen in life and we should leave room for disappointment so that one can be able to find the strength to raise your child, I don't know much about mental health, but all I am saying is, take it easy on yourselves my loves, we are all trying hle, siyazama sonke, life has no manual.

You are very right Owami. Facts are facts .
    1. You can only legally force men to pay support but you can never force them to be emotionally supportive to you or that child .
    2. Ladies protest all you want ,but bottom line is the womb is in you so the child will be left with you.
    3. How many times must they teach grown SINGLE woman to use birth control methods but you guys wanna be iindlondlo ze pregnancy. And u cry and blame everyone when they neglect you and that child.
    4. Its been said for years that get married first before having kids, even so, its never a guarantee that you and your kids will be taken care of emotionally or anything. Think very well before having kids because wow and your tears and screaming about your mental health wont help you, so please ladies do better for the kids you made.

So many things contributed to her passing but i guess it would be fair if we can go with the family statement because she seemed happy just a few days ago with a new man.
