Wheels and tires look great! Definitely functional but I personally would take it up another 2”. Cant wait for the aftermarket to catch up! Love watching your truck grow and flourish! 🤙🏻 thanks for sharing
Thank you I appreciate all your kind words !! And yes that’s the plan 2-3 inches , the after market needs to catch up and I’ll I’ll be on it. I might be heading to California for some r&d suspension soon stay tuned for that. Thanks again 🙏❤️
Rims look sweet. 2" lift makes a big difference. Used Rough Country struts and shocks on my '17 Z71 Colorado and it looks sweet. You won't regret doing it. Put Falkens on as well. Keep it up 👍
The bronze looks pretty sick, I actually didnt think they would look that good! I pulled the trigger and traded in my '22 on the '23 Z71. I wish it had the technology package instead of the sunroof but, oh well, maybe I'll add some cameras later...
Just ordered a set of Method 305’s in an 18x9 with a +18 offset. Hoping they fit similar to the stock wheels. Not much info out on the web just yet. 🤞 Thanks for posting your experience!
Those wheels and tires look great! I've currently got Falken Wildpeak AT3W's on my 16' Colorado. I might look into those RT's when it's time for new tires.
@Downtimelost awesome! I'm glad to hear that. I really like my Falken Wildpeaks. I've only ever had BFGoodrich tires, but everyone spoke so highly of these and so I got them and they're great tires. I'm really these new Colorados. But, for now I'll enjoy my paid off 16'...lol.
You get +10 for the Z71 with Methods on 33s....BUT, you get +1,000,000 for the corgi! I have 3 (2 tris & 1 red/white), and I love them an unreasonable amount! 🥰
What size lugs did you get for the wheels? Method still doesn’t have a recommendation on their site. I think they are M14x1.5 but not sure about the standard vs extended?
Cool vids man. Picked up a 23 Trail Boss couple weeks ago. Super stoked with it. Where in Ca are you at? We should get together for a group run if your in SoCal area. Also, wheels look pretty sick with the black.
Good job dude on what you have done so far! Don’t do the sub frame drop up front I know you have 4x4 but try to stay away from those lifts! Look into dirtking fab or Baja kits. Great fast Offroad companies.
Yo, nice to see someone doing upgrades with their colorado! You said you used Tacoma wheels on your Z71 with a hubcentric ring, what bore size is the colorado? Information seems to be all over the place, the 6x120 bolt pattern still comes up, so I've been sorting by silverado but I just want to be sure
Thank you sir !! Same bolt pattern at the Silverado and Tacoma, only thing different from a Tacoma is the hub bore. So yeah Chevy wheels will work perfectly 🤙
On my 2024 colorafo zr2 i am leaning towards putting either the gold or bronze colored method wheels on my harvest bronze metsllic colored truck and switching out to 255/85R17 tires on the truck to get a 34" tall tire on it. I like both the cooper AT4w And this falken wildpeak R/T tires. Bur also the MT baja boss A/T tire is appealing. Living in northeadtern tn i just need a good rugged tire to ho driving on logging or forestry trails along the tn/nx border andnover in eastern ky or far qest regions in southwest virginia.
Can't wait man. Btw I know Z71 got a tire air down mode, I was wondering can it pump air as well or you will need to do it by yourself? If yes, what tool did you use? @@Downtimelost
0 offset (the wheels I have ) are too close the the caliper so I would go negative offset if I could do it again but nothing crazy maybe -12 offset next time 👌
It’s the same as the Chevy 1500 , so just shop for 1500 wheels and they will fit perfectly or u can get taco wheels and use a hub centric ring like I did ! 👍
That is what i needed to know. The freakin net is all over the place on this subject. I ordered a 23 4x4 a few days ago, wheels&tires are the first upgrade..
Congrats brotha ! Lol yeah they’re goin crazy I had to wing it and it ended up working , I just had to use a hub centric ring on mine bc I got the Tacoma wheel with a bigger hub bore
One of these Phoenix dealers told me you CANT get the 430 torque flash in the 310hp without it affecting the warranty,,,do you know if this is true,,the 5 other dealers here don’t have a clue what I’m talking about!
Those dealers have no idea what they’re talking about even Chevy, UA-cam channel and Chevy research developers that have done many interviews says it does not affect quarantine. Pull up a video on UA-cam and show those cocksuckers.!
He's not. Those are not true 33's. You can see they are metric tires written right there on the sidewall. Apparently there is a lot of confusion these days about metric tires vs imperial tires. They think that if it measures 33" tall it's a "33". Completely ignoring the aspect ratio of a true 33 imperial tire.
You need to get a two inch lift,,,but even know it’s more expensive I would do it though the factory,,,cause they are serious about using the excuse of not warranting something that effects ANYTHING,,,THE LOOK FOR ANY REASON NOT TO COVER THE WARRANTY
Nice rig. Love the scenery around there
Thank you 🙏 and me also !

Thanks brotha !!! That’s the plan only really need 2-3 hopefully it won’t take fab tech or peak to release something for the z71 !

Yes definitely soon !

What size were they?
17x8.5 0 offset
255/80r17
No lift and no rub!
Does the Z71 have the 2 inch lift like the Trail Boss?
Nope just 1 inch higher than the lt because of the tires dosnt come with any lift. So if you get the lt or wt you can get 33’s like me ! 😁

I got 35s on now , tune in Sunday 8am and see how I did it ! 🔥
