    “Two years ago Lamar, when he got outta the pocket, he was gone.” That’s a piece of why he doesn’t want to run, because of comments like that. Comments like that suggest he should only throw. I feel like the response should always be, do whatever it takes to win the game. He tries too hard to win only from the pocket and he isn’t ONLY a pocket player. Pretty evident from the game vs KC. And NO ONE says a word about ANY other QB with running. Josh Allen gets MASSIVE praise running the ball. Sometimes, yall talk TOO much and he hears it.

      Seems that all trying to clean the BS up. They were all in on the fix. If you’ve seen Lamar, when he’s legit about the game, he would have reacted upset a lil bit. I didn’t notice any frustration in that game. Seems the rules written beforehand and all followered unconditionally.
      They making it seem like it’s a good play that he was looking downfield all the time instead of running. Nothing could be further than the truth. That wasn’t maturity at all. That was pure poor gamesmanship.

      So frustrating that it was a gameplan that historically incompetent as a backdrop while Lamar gets the lion share of the blame because of lazy narratives

      but he should get the lion share of the blame. His pick fumble holding rhe ball to long. He can audible anytime. He also should havr had another pick to. Hit nick Bolton straight in the hands and he dropped it. Twice he should have had picks.

      It happens to even the best coaches. Look at Reid. Both years KC lost in the playoffs with Mahomes at QB, it is because Reid abandons the run/defense sells hard.

    BRING BACK WORLEY, DARBY, CLOWNEY, NELSON, DALVIN, AND MADUBUIKE

    • @faveology
      @faveology 10 місяців тому

      They can't afford all of that. Unless you want them to dig into all their cap in future years (thus making it harder to retain talent in future years). Madubuike is going to get a pretty payday. Their defense will absolutely suffer if they don't draft well. Queen could also potentially be gone. They are losing 4 starters from their front 7. They are losing both starting guards. They are losing basically their entire receiving core. 7 million (probably closer to 15 million if the $245 million cap is accurate) is what they have going into next season. They can't really afford to restructure Lamar. They can potentially restructure some other guys to create more space. You need about $8-10 million in cap just for rookies. They are just going to be fielding a worse football team next year. It is what it is. If they can draft well, they can stay dominant - albeit not as good but still dominant. If they draft poorly, well, they probably only win 11 or less games next year and will need Lamar to play at a true MVP level (the MVP he won this year was honestly not a true MVP - it should have went to CMC, but MVP award is 100% just a QB award now)

    The same concept is Lamar has no shutdown plays, throwing down field takes time so if scheme plays take to long to develop why not have a outlet? Lamar should know to have a outlet! The receiver should know Lamar will need a outlet😳😳💯

      Ravens are notoriously mid educating Lamar from a passing stance! They have made this so difficult and it’s sad! The incompetence and inconsistency of solid players and a fluid offense just shows how incompetent Harbs is! These washed up wide outs are trash! Exclude OBJ! Nelson Doo doo!

    All I can think about right now is that the next time Lamar Jackson and the ravens are in this moment the pressure is going to Triple because your history has been that you don’t show up so either that pressure is going to make diamonds or you know the other side.

      For them to be in the same scenario next year, they are going to need big injuries for other teams again AND for Lamar to actually play at a true MVP level. His MVP this year was more of a 'best smelling turd' award. The talent around him on a whole will be worse next year UNLESS the Ravens think 'it's next year or bust' and proceed to mortgage the next couple seasons after next year in an attempt to win it all next year

    Old Lamar might have won that game by taking off and running. Sometimes you have to take what the opposition gives you and flip the bird to all the talking head critics with the "yeah but can he throw?" BS. Oh and please stop with the OBJ talk. Odell was an exciting experiment and pacifier for the passing version of lj8 but too much $ for too little production.

    • @faveology
      @faveology 10 місяців тому

      He was missing quite a few throws, and it felt like he was trying too hard. Just take what the defense gives you. Be it running around or throwing for 4 yards a pop. That turnover he had legit proved he wasn't ready. Playoff football, especially when your defense is doing well, is all about who turns the ball over the least

    That’s mind blowing Lamar doesn’t make pre snap checks at the line? My middle school coach trusted me to do that! I don’t think anyone ever wants to bring up the elephant in the room, that’s the fact he’s an amazing athlete but he’s not intelligent enough to ever win the big one

      Ridiculous. They didn't let him. It was a part of what was handcuffing him under Roman. He had to work with the play. No matter how predictable. No matter how redundant. Didn't matter if it was horrible for the situation. He was expected to run what was called, and make the best out of the fallout, whatever that entailed. Crazy take, to say that means he can't get them to a title. First year being allowed to truly drive, he took them to a conference championship game. They, like you, had preconceived notions of what he was capable of. Had he been given total autonomy at the line from the start, they'd already have at least 1, if not multiple chips with him already.

      I love how the language is not even coded anymore for Lamar critics. He literally by all accounts has a photographic memory and has been given more authority at the LOS than he’s ever had before. And in first year in new offense he had an MVP season and was top 5/10 all year in passer rating and comp pct. In his career he’s been far more efficient than several of your faves and several QBs who have won a Super Bowl. Would love to hear your justification for placing limitations on his intellectual capacity without totaling yourself 😂

      That’s not a fact. It’s a derogatory narrative you’ve created .. It’s one thing to say he’s not able to win the big one. it’s another to say he’s not intelligent enough to win the big one .. Deep seeded stereotype is in your language 😮

    What growth from lamar? His passing td went down. His tunning td went down. His completion percentage is down. How the hell did he have growth? If anything he fell off a cliff. He doesnt deserve mvp. Josh allen or cmc deserves mvp. Lamar is a inevitable choke in thw playoffs. Hes allowed to change plays at the line of scrimmage. Yet he doesnt knoe how to do it. He cant audible. He cant read what the defense is doing. But people will fight you tooth and nail about lamar. When hes cost his team 3 playoff games. One he faked an injury last year then against the titans and this year agsinst the chiefs.
