Chow Lu Fong is framed for the murder of a government minister by a
corrupt official who is also King of Eagle Claw. Chow manages to evade capture by the Eunuchs troops and goes on the run. Enter Xiao Da, a bounty hunter deployed by the Eunuch to capture Chow, before long Xiao Da learns of Chow's innocence and together they team up to fight the Wicked Eunuch.

Probably one of the best directed and timed kung fu movie. Extremely entertaining from beginning to end. Especially this movie succeeds in being interesting in the last 30 min which is usually weak and dragging as the plot is already over and it's just a matter of getting to the final fight with the top villain. Sound effects are good too, and all fights are stellar, better than other John Liu's movies. Hwang Jang Lee is a bit too short to be a convincing eagle's claw grandmaster that style is better seen on tall people with long reaching arms who can squat and still reach into the opponent's calves for example in Iron Monkey. Iron armour of course is not real, so this is quite far from Hwang Jang Lee usual skills but his charisma does not betray him and his acrobatics incredibly stable, fast and precise. I think i have seen this movie in english before and this original version definitively adds a lot to the movie.
there is a master and student today who teaches and trains for iron body, i have seen this and think i know how it is done, at least the first 3 years. these 2 are as far as i know the only ones practicing this martial art. i saw this on a you tube video about a man who would put himself through anything ie. training for fire fighting, scuba diving etc. but i cannot think of the name
SUBTITLES are Superb ! Narration & Description lay the ground work. Some extras: General Cho is hunted down constantly for that murder with fights and weapons. Hoo Lung is (Lee Hoi San). Cho stays with a young guy (has pretty sister) who teaches him iron armor & iron finger. Name hard to come by (Hwang) is Minister Chang, brothers with (Ko Fei). Fight to be master of the eagle claw. 3 man gang fight against Cho. Shin Yu (Tino) has a good guy/bad guy sort of role. Just superb and constant fighting in this movie. Have seen this movie on MANY fans Top 10 favorites lists on Wu Tang commenters. Much worth it.

Cos it's an interesting movie
By learning the basic kung-fu techniques of the iron finger takes skills to master it so he can able to break his invincible body armor that would make him vulnerable! I enjoyed watching this film by John Liu, Philip Ko Fei and Hwang Jang Lee. Much-appreciated Wu Tang collection 👍🏿👌🏿👏🏿🛕📿☯️🫸🏿🤛🏿🙏🏿
Though Hwang Jang Lee and Philip Ko Fei reminds me of Shujinko from Mortal Kombat 😏👍🏿

This movie tells us about a weak point in our body among other six strong points. Two styles are used in this movie. Iron fist and iron finger. That minister died at last because iron finger was used at his weak point resulting him to instant death.

Hold Up ... it could be argued that the villain's true weak spot was the back of his head, otherwise, his balls would not have dropped to be crushed in the final fight. Nonetheless, and IMHO, it's still one of the best films of the genre that was not produced by Shaw Brothers.
