for gearless EV, can we consider velocity while calculating gradient power to be same as vehicle velocity(ex16.7 in this case) instead of 1 which you have considered
First you need to certify your vehicle conversion from ARAI. Then you have to go to the RTO and fill a form, after that they will give you a new RC which will have motor number, BMS number, controller number instead of engine number. Then you will have to put a sticker (80x80 mm) on your car with the text "xEV". This is the whole process in short.
@@sakshammishra8291 thanks for the information but can you explain that we application in RTO for e conversation or convert the wheecle the we go for the registration in RTO please halp me for that thing and thanks for forther information thanks alot
13:48 There are two major mistakes in the overall calculations done for EV conversion of Tata Nano. The formula to calculate Power in Watts is Sum of all forces (Fr + Fd + Fg) X velocity, Here the Fg is multiplied by 1 instead of 16.7. Velocity cannot be replaced by 1 or any other number like that. Secondly a very important force calculation is missing, i.e. Facc or Force of acceleration. This is the force required to accelerate the vehicle to change the speed from 0 to 60 in a given time. Hence the total watts required in conclusion that says 9.2 kW is wrong. The latest Tata Nano EV model has a 17kW engine, almost double than what you have derived to.

Thank you for the work u have donee
Thanks..
Thanks for explaining so clearly
I'm thinking for startup electric vahicle company I hope it was very helpful for me
Sir you can contact me on Whatsapp no 7648940132..
U Have done very good job tnq
Thanks...
Does these calculations are applicable to 2 wheeler?
Yes obviously and clearly he mentioned that
Just take the corresponding measurements for your 2 wheeler
To fir aapke hisab se Tata Nano me kitne watt ki motor lagani chahiye?
Depends on speed and load. Although for single person if you wants 80-90kmph 6kw will be sufficient. For moderate 4-5kw is ok..
Efficiency is only 85%, so should we multiply or divide.
I think it will go to 205 instead of 177.
How to get permission from RTO for electric conversion
Please reply me
Bro at present I am not sure about the RTO permission..

I have converted Nano in EV using this calculation with 3kw motor so my calculations is practically proven. ...
@Arzan Amaria can i have your contact information? mail-id or any mode of contact
@@motomanicevs yes but u didnt get reqd speed of 60 kmph @ 525 RPM.
Coz differential ratio u forgot for calculation !!!
English subtitles would be cool.. :(

Yes true. Will definitely try..
To calculate total power why you not include force due to acceleration
You can get about 60-70km with single person load..
In your other video your value for air density was 0.60 and here it is 1.2. why?
1/2x1.2 =0.6 .it's ok.. as per formula..
@@motomanicevs which formula are you talking about because as per normal conditions in India, air density varies from 1.0 to 1.2
aap reply ni dete jaldi yar na WhatsApp na yt pe
I will give reply you today positively..
Bhai...ur calculation is wrong so speed in top gear will be much less.
U havnt considered Diff. gear ratio of Tata Nano
