Get the Sanwa M17, I’ve had mine for at least 7-8 years. You’ll feel so much more connected with the faster latency. You’ll be a better driver immediately. Stick with fh5 receivers over the fh4, you’ll feel that difference too.

Yes, the Sanwa’s paired with their servos are supposedly the fastest. I’ll bet Futaba is right there though too.

@@Jaguar-s7f They are, I run those too. The Futaba is basically a fh4, so a smidge slower latency than Sanwa.

Excellent footage... Those consistant laps look like watching slot cars Gavin.
Nice work..looks like a nice buggy to drive around on carpet. Loved the track layout too. Never raced on such a tight track, indeed last time I raced was early 90's, with 1/8th nitro buggy..big open outdoor track.
Keep up the great work mate!

Nice job making the A! I recently did the AL bell cranks on my B7. I wasn't expecting except some improved durability but it helped me carry more speed into the corners and held the line better. I've seen some guys at my track lose their idler gears but the B7 seems very tough so far. It's fun to build and the battery holder is so easy now. The mod guys are saying it handles power better do they've been able to go to lower turn motors and be ok

You are a naturally good driver. Maybe you could have been an IFMAR champ. 😂. Seriously though, could you imagine having that on your resume, but only a few people recognize it’s significance.

Nice job on the A final 👍 PR are great cars, a load of racers at my club run pr’s, but they are slowly moving onto xray, schumacher and AE. But these things are bullet proof. Good luck with the 2wd 👍

I get the feeling PR Racing was bigger and more active before and has slowly gone quiet in the UK.

@@RCKickschannel it has, i think the bigger brands have more coverage, so people buy them. I allways look for the underdog.

Not sure what turns you drive but try less powerful motors. My first couple of years of racing I only drove 13.5 in 4WD 2WD and the first year mostly in 13.5 Blinky mode. Even these days I do not go below 7.5T in 2WD / 10.5T in 4WD.
90% of all drivers can‘t handle the power of 5T-7.5T motors but won‘t listen if you recommend to use less powerful motors.
Try it and you will see that you’ll be faster with cleaner racing and consequently better finals.

Even the sanwa M17 isn't faster response time there both sub 3ms response, you can get faster by setting the nb4 to one way but you would be better to get the new fgr4d receiver and then a 1000hz servo or the new 1000hz ibus 2 servos from flysky/power hd or MKS, even the world class drivers like Ryan Mayfield are now swapping to flysky and winning major events that and you don't have to pay £80+ for each receiver, I know you can get 3rd party receivers for sanwa but many of the racers I know won't run them due to them being the older slower protocol then you have waisted £500 on the m17 or very strange issues mid race :) The m17 is a great radio but nothing to gain from an nb4/nb4+ or nb4 pro and the menu system on sanwa a bit challenging at times.

I’m running the FGr4S v2 Flysky receiver so I just went and purchased the FGr4D receiver for £25.00 from Banggood. Do you need the Noble Pro or will it still work with the NB4? The FXS260 IBUS2 metal servo is a bit expensive at £153.00 but if I can utilise its full potential of it with the basic NB4 and FGr4D receiver, I’ll give it a go. 👍🏻

if you are in the market for a new rx/tx system, take a look at the radiomaster mt12. edgetx and elrs are a true blessing.

Agree I have the the DX5 Rugged Spektrum it's a good basher radio but I'm going to go the Radiomaster MT12. It superior for my racing drones and the functions are simple and work well so it makes sense.

We mix them as not so many 4WD runners. 2WD is super popular at the club as is vintage

The weather is so unpredictable in the UK plus I can’t be doing with cleaning a buggy when you drive on grass. Like you say, I would need another car lol. Never say never but I’m more of an indoor driver lol
