I have recently returned after performing umrah. I stayed in Voco hotel. I do not recommend this hotel. Shuttle service is not satisfactory. Overloaded. Guards are rude. You miss your prayers because of long distance and poor bus service.

Videos are mostly in tower number 2. Other towers are not good. Number 5 has reallyyy awsome sewage smell at entrance (irronically). Mind blown up as you entered. No regular room service. Always called them but no one bothers. Room look nice but not practical. Baths are strange. Shower has no door and water is flowing every where. You have to request them for towel and toillet roll and you will get when they want.

We were abt 24hrs ago in thia hotel for 6 nighta.Hotel is good. But bow they have change their rute from tunnel to Ajyad Rd it take approx 25 min from hotel to haram. Before their shuttle was very convinient becz they drop at clock tower basement which was easy and took hardly 12 mins to reach from hotel to haram.
where are they dropping now?? not backside clock tower??
@@abdulhaseeb410 no they r dropping at ajyad bus stop which is horrible and have much rush.. i would seriously prefer to get Le Maridian Hotel which is very convinient and takes hardly 5 to 6 min to reach from hotel to haram. While now voco shuttle takes 25 to 45 min in rush and on normal without rush it take around 25 min to reach from haram to hotel. Plus point of voco is that there are 2 to 3 pakistani restaurant nearby.
@@zeeshansoomro5514 we are already booked at voco now coming on 20th. but why not at clock tower now? ajyad se haram tak kitni walk hai?? very bad for elderly and kids with us
@@abdulhaseeb410 hotel sy ajyad 15 min then ajyad sy haram tak 8 min....if road are clear..otherwise it takes more time...some time we have to wait for bus too aur jab rush bhar jata hai toh aur tention.
@@abdulhaseeb410 still i would suggest if u have elder n kids better to book Le Maridian..it will be best for elders n kids.

This hotel is not 1.3 km walk . It’s a 2.3 km walk. Please tell me which route you took to get that distance . On google maps it shows the distance 2.3 km from voco to Darul tawheed on the same road

Swissotel. Only 5-7 minutes walking distance from Kaaba 🕋
You can also check Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel and Al Shohada Hotel. They are relatively cheaper then Swissotel. Makarem Ajyad is 10 - 12 minutes walking distance from Kaaba 🕋 and Al Shohada may be 15 - 20 minutes..

Le Meridien is so much better...rate is also good i got in end of November for 320 SAR which is quite good...
@@babuasif75 i would still prefer le mardian because its convinient and have proper fridge n micro. Otherwise in voco there is no fridge it have fridge type equpment to keep things fresh for some hrs only.
