How To Break Game Shows Without Cheating

- Michael Larson and Terry Kniess are well known for their achievements on Press Your Luck and The Price is Right respectively. In 1984, Larson figured out the pattern on Press Your Luck's Big Board, which allowed him to rack up over 30 extra spins. He finished the game with $110,237, a single day record at the time. Kniess made a perfect bid on his showcase on The Price is Right in 2008, but there's more to that story than meets the eye. Both of these contestants have become well-known, but some people have labeled them as cheaters. So I wanted to make this video to show why both of their wins are legitimate.

I feel like learning about how people exploited quirks of the game while still following the rules is more interesting than learning about cheaters
First, the difference between Michael Larson and Charles Ingram is that Michael got his $110,237 and Charles got publicly humiliated and shamed.
Second, Drew Carey and CBS made sure that whoever gave Terry Kniess the exact bid never came back to "The Price is Right" again.
Hey!
This is the first time I’ve watched ANY of your videos! I found this one was not only entertaining, but VERY interestingly informative too!
I just subscribed to your channel! I’m planning on watching your other posts too!
F.Y.I: I’m also a HUGE game show fan! I ESPECIALLY LOVE the oldies, such as:
Press Your Luck
Card Sharks
Sale of the Century
Beat the Clock
TPIR (Barker era!)
Wheel of Fortune
Jeopardy!
Family Feud (Dawson era and older!)
Any others that would fit this list!
Any chance of posting videos covering any of the above?
There _were_ actually a few contestants who noticed the pattern during their run, specifically Kim from the earlier season. On her second episode, she figured the pattern out, but unfortunately whammied once the board loaded the next set of patterns, which she was unfamiliar with.
I thought it was cool when Michael's brother James was invited to play on "Whammy". Not only that, but the two contestants who played against Michael (during his final appearance I think) on the original show were invited back as well.
That was surprisingly entertaining. :)
Great job on this video. You have talent keep at it.
I really love Michael Lawson win alots million dollar
