Keep in mind guys, the 3DS version does not run nearly as well as it does in this video. On real hardware it runs at like single digits, not to mention some of the animations are significantly choppier. So my suggestion is to avoid the 3DS version of this game and get the console versions.

In other words, if you want to play the 3DS version, play it emulated. Of course, you could also just emulate the Wii version.

@@VGamingJunkieVT Yeah, there's really no point in playing the 3DS version at all since it is an awful, horribly optimized port, and most likely you have another console to play it on, or you can emulate other versions. Had the 3DS version ran decently and had multiplayer though, it would have been the definitive version, as it is portable.

I give extra points to the dev for porting the Wii version to the 3DS instead of just taking the DS version and upping the resolution like many others.

I used to have the PS3 version back in the day, and I was very easy to note how much of a Mario Kart rip-off it was. 50cc, 100cc and 150cc with Mirror as unlockable, the tours all being called "Cups" and even most of the items are similar to Mario Kart items.

I recently played the 3DS version on a N3DS, it runs very poorly. Did you capture on a 3ds emu right? Anyways the NDS version runs much better since it built up completely for the hardware.

It's usual for HD versions of games to have lower frame rates than those that are of lower quality.
But really, I'm not sure why that is the case.
