A lot of people are saying that kensai can't antigank. I happen to disagree. Not only is his hyper armor easy to access, it is never used so nobody expects the soft faint into heavy. The way I usually play it is light him up if he's passive and when he throws an attack dodge attack into top heavy soft faint into side heavy or light and if they expect the side heavy faint into gb. And that's how you play kensai. Now as far as antigank, his dodge attack is a great distancing tool for 2v1s which are more likely to happen then 3v1s and 4v1s and even yet still works in those situations. Not only that but the top heavy opener is hard to parry, so if your opponent is in a bad spot most times they mess up the parry and end up wiffing. But of course just like every heavy attack in his kit it can be soft fainted into a dodge attack or light.

If you're serious, The game is called For Honor, game came out in 2017 and the devs still support it, theres even massive fight changes coming on the 5th. The game has Vikings, Knights, Samurai, and a chinese faction. I really reccomend the game if you can handle sweaty people
He’s hella feinty and you gotta balance offense and defense really well, it can get really easy to spam the side dodge so try not to get used to it bc you’ll get punished hella hard

@@Dasanie well I mean kensai is kinda a god at antigank. His lights are fast and have a big hit box. His lights combos are great for punishing slow reactions. I find my self winning a lot of the ganks in 4v4 because of how much distance you can put between yourself and the enemy with his dodge attack, not to mention his soft faints. Holy shit his soft faints are amazing. Dodge attack into top-heavy soft faint into side heavy. Gets them every time. Ontop of that you have hyper armor. Kensai is perfect for 4v4 in my opinion.

Oni Yamaoka broken as in annoying, it depends with who i fight against him like if i take jorm and raider he smokes me with his lights. But when play cent, hito or warden. He struggles allot
BlackPanther Hard feinting is using a move and canceling it with the feint button. Soft feints are when you cancel a move by performing a different move. They’re different depending on the character. For example, while Kensei is winding up his top heavy, he can press the side light button and the animation for the top heavy will cancel and go into the side light without having to press the feint button.
Idk the reason Shinobi have to be so tilt about kenzo. Literally saw kenzo playing a different character and assumes he's fake But how the FUCK is tht a good reason to tilt?
kensei is such an underrated hero. He's the best samarai hero IMO out the faction and the most interesting in depth. Really wish all the heroes had the same level of moveset as him.
