Fix 1 - Double Check Everywhere
Be sure the icon is not in a folder. Check every Home screen and every folder. Also use search to see if you can find it. From the Home screen, swipe all the way to the left screen, then search for “App Store” to see if it appears.
Fix 2 - Check Restrictions
Open “Settings” from the Home screen.
In iOS12 and higher choose “Screen Time” - “Content Privacy & Restrictions” - “Content Privacy” - “Allowed Apps“. In iOS 11 and lower, choose “General” - “Restrictions“.
Ensure “iTunes Store” and you will want to set it to “On“.
Fix 3 - Reset Home Screen
It is possible that the icon is on a different home screen or in a folder. Look on other screens and within folders. If you still can’t find it, try resetting the home screen by selecting “Settings” - “General “- “Reset” - “Reset Home Screen Layout“. This should return your icons to default settings and restore the App Store icon.
Note: If your iPad was provided to you by the organization you work for or a school, it is possible there is software on the device that locks access to the App Store. Ask your IT department for access if you feel this might be the case.

I know the screen time pass but I restarted my iPad to see and the App Store wasn’t there so then after that I went to screen time and nothing popped up.....
He kinda controls my iPad form his iPad so later ima see if I can get the App Store again

Great video tutorial 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 someone I know child bought an in app purchase and I turned off the access to download apps and do in app purchases , I just realized that that was the was the main reason for the restriction of me not being able to update or install an app thanks went to this and it worked immediately. My App Store is now back on my screen !

Did all steps. Still no App Store on my son's iPhone. Called Apple helpdesk. Turns out the parental control app I had downloaded was blocking the appstore. Took them half an hour to discover this. And I had no clue this app was blocking and hiding the Appstore. So my advice: check and remove parental control apps first and then do the steps described in this video.
This was great!!! Thank you for your help. My iPhone did an update and somehow changed the settings under my screen time which prevented me from seeing Safari and the App Store icon. Again a million thank youssssssss!!!!

Nice. Just got my first iPhone and I was enjoying it until the App Store disappeared. I thought since it’s an iPhone it would come back on its own. I got frustrated when the apps I wanted to get was exponentially increasing and found this video.
My solution was to reset the Home Screen. I had a concern that I might lose all the other apps. I ungrouped the apps I had and spread them out through different tabs and took screenshots just in case I would lose them after the reset. Thankfully I didn’t have to redownload everything. Even though the apps I did download remained ungrouped they did reset to different positions. Perhaps in the order that I downloaded them, but definitely not in alphabetical order or anything obvious like that.

My phone has recently been turning off by it’s self, I downloaded Snapchat and deleted it. As soon as I pushed delete app my phone turned off. Snapchat was in my home screen but the Snapchat logo wasn’t there. It just had full white screen and black lines. I deleted it and was gone I went to the apple store to check if it was deleted but it said open, I pushed open and just took me back to my home screen. I tried everything, going to apple store support thing it didn’t help me. How can I delete the app officially? I reset my phone and it’s back on the home screen every time. :/
