I totally understand Nick's reaction. Just like what he said, Brian is the best singer in the group and they were unstoppable when he was firing those cylinders. I think he was just worried about Brian's condition and how it can affect him and their current album they were doing.
And Nick.and Brian were close too. Therefore it really hurt Nick to.see Brian like that. Though comparing a medical condition to.an.addiction is not a direct comparison. He hid it like an addict might hide an addiction but that's the only similarity.
The say this time and time again, they’re fights come from a place of passion. They’re so passionate about what they do. And Nick was pissed that Micheal Jordan wasn’t around anymore. And he was scared for his best friend. And for the group’s future. But that was was almost 10 years go and they’re still going strong today. Brian’s not giving up. He could easily hung up his All I Have to Give fedora for good, but he kept on keepin’ on. As long as they’ll b3 music, they’ll be comin’ back again, KTBSPA
I think Nick was more hurt then anything else, hurt at the fact that Brian didn't feel comfortable sharing the problems he was going through, felt hurt that Brian didn't confide in him, when he was supposed to be his best friend, and I think for a long, long time Nick resented Brian for that and I think that's why for a few years when Kevin came back the boys seemed to distance themselves from each other, and then when it all finally came to ahead it exploded like this.
It was so hard to watch. I believe if the issue had been addressed earlier it wouldn't have blown up like it did. With their own finances put into it all the stakes were higher for them all, and though Brian must have been feeling a lotta pressure the rest of the guys were under the same amount too. Glad they solved it, talked about it. Impressed Nick had the gall to do it.
+Maha Actually, Brian did tell them about the issue when they first got together in London, it wasn't like the big secret finally got out in the boardroom. AJ said it in an interview and how he wished they'd shot that scene in London for the movie.
+Kimberly Van Dijk Hmm I do wish they had shot that. But clearly from the reaction of the other boys it was still quite a hush-hush situation. Kevin explains how not addressing the problem lead to this whole head on argument.
+Maha I wonder sometimes if all of that frustration has been mounted by his own personal issues to just blow up like that. Who knows but he does need to try and approach things in a less contentious way. (I know it's easier said than done)
yeah this makes alot of sense ... brian is vocally the best singer in backstreet boys its what nick said he is the michael jordan of the group an they need him ... then the rest together they are so powerful vocally an harmonically
Come on Brian that ways a low blow. Nick is not my favorite , AJ is. But Nick never needed help singing... He said that out of emotion... Not a good place brother.
Felt sorry for Brian. Brian feels awful. Never expected that would happen to him. He s doing alot better now. God bless him! He s such a good person!
I agree, Brian is a caring person and this confrontation must have hurt him.
glad that Kevin's back..

I hard time convincing a couple Nick fans that he was justified in his feelings just not how he expressed it.

I wish this was longer because I wanted to hear Brian's reaction to the scene if he reacted at all. I am sure he was humbled by the whole exchange.

Yes when you don't know how to listen you have communication issues when you don't know how to be understood you have communication problems.

Very true. I wish Nick would have addressed it in a somewhat nicer way though.
+Kimberly Van Dijk I agree. He can be a hot head sometimes.
