I solo’d a 5.6 the other day so I totally know what this is like
I've no idea how this guy can climb at all having to carry that huge sack of his. Dude is unbelievable.
Rumor has it BD makes custom underwear for their athletes for this exact reason...
I've gone too far to turn around now. Maybe it will work. What other option do I have anyway? This is evoking really scary memories of the kinds of thoughts we all have before making huge mistakes. Or not. Most of the time, we do get away with it.
That bolt was missing. Luckily I had someone taking pics and could bail us out.
I went back, found the hole and replaced that bolt.

Soloing in good conditions is one thing but I don't know if I'd ever have the audacity to solo anywhere that the next hold could be covered in ice
My get out of a solo jam motto was, just keep moving. Sounds like a lot of ppl's go to.
It is so hard to turn back when you should, before it gets too hard to turn back!
