Thanks for this video, very good as usual :D Some suggestions for future videos: - environmental portraits related to vacations (I.e. how do you take a beautiful portrait with showing the background and the area at the same time?) - natural babies portrait (with and without parents), without becoming cliché - what do you look for when searching for a location? What makes a good location? Thanks 🙏
nice tuto. how do you focus for all these scenes ? face and eye detetcion or you set focus point manually by tapping lcd ? I am struggling with my z6ii to focus so i need to come back to af-s or af-c single point myself :-( About other shoots BTS, I would be very interested by portrait with glasses with flash. for instance corporate photography for a website with portrait of the collegues... I am aware of reflection angle which must be outside camera axis but glasses are rounded created lot of angles. where to locate softbox, reflector,... ?
Why is the light so high up - seems like it should be lower to highlight the abs - don't need a weird highlight on his neck - whats the thinking - this is in reference to when you shot in front of the car near the beginning of the video.
doubtful his clientel would be all men, shoot what appeals to the masses, also the contrast of perceived masculinity with the soft features of the background can create intrigue
What other shoots do you want to see behind the scenes of? Let us know in the comments!

I know it sounds boring but do a corporate shoot of sorts. Maybe a headshot or environmental portrait video.
Amazing! I like that contrast with Light and darkness on the wall!
This was great Pye. The recap at the end was perfect! You made me run off to B + H and buy a used grid kit for my A1X.
I use a 55 - 210 mm lens from Sony. It's an okay lens. It's not as sharp as some others, but it's okay to start and learn with. It has a great range.
Lighting genius…Pye, dope work as usual!
Cool and useful. Thanks!
As always so many good tips.. thanks bro !!
This is so valuable!
amazing shots !! Especially in bw, how did you freeze it while running, that is, did you focus in manual mode or tracking af, at a fast shutter speed?
You can see his settings on the left. 1/2000 shutter does the trick.
In the last scene, what is the machine called that he is using to perform arm curls?
OMG, it’s Kano! 😁

WOW

Dunno man, that fist shot with the hedge and purple flowers was a bit girly for this genre.
I think that's sort of the point. Not every fitness shoot/ad has to be targeted towards a masculine crowd.

So annoying when they do fitness shoots with some average looking dude, just to be pc! Why not use some hot fit dude?
