Hey i reference a lot of people’s art for inspiration and analyze elements of them and include them in my video! I put links for the art in the video in the description! If you don’t like your art being in the video, I’ll cut it out. Email me, comment, or tweet at me to let me know!

This is really cool!! I love the final design!!
I do find it funny the implication that the ancients built a giant supercomputer to be a jester. Would your iterator's main purpose still be to solve the great problem with being entertaining as a sort of side purpose?
I imagine an iterator like this would regularly broadcast their performances through overseers, maybe even to neighboring iterators' cities. Ancients who live in their city probably care less for the cycle than the average ancient, valuing entertainment over escape. This could be very interesting because this would likely cause both your iterator and your iterator's citizens to be looked down on. Many iterators are very driven to solve the great problem, so it's likely they'd see your iterator as a distraction from this task. Something interesting could be perhaps a "raid" of some sorts on your iterator's city to force their ancients to ascend? We know that there were ancients who were forced to ascend, and in a city where entertainment is prioritized over ascension this may lead to some issues. Just brainstorming here.
As for after the mass ascension, they'd likely feel even more isolated than the average iterator because their role as an entertainer would be looked down upon by other iterators, limiting their communication with them. Although I do imagine other iterators in their local group would be somewhat similar to your iterator
There's so many fun things you can do with this concept! I love thinking about this stuff :D I love this iterator design a lot and I'll be interested if you do anything else with them! By the way, does your iterator have a name?

Oh wow! i really like your analysis and the possible ideas that could come with it! I was thinking that my iterators main purpose would not really be to solve the great problem. And if they were then that would be more of the side thing.
I sort of thought that they would be broadcasting and putting on shows, similar to a streamer, comedian, and stuff! It is definitely interesting to think about the ancients who live in the city valuing entertainment more? Hrmm? Thank you so much for your comment, I appreciate the thought you put into it!
Also about the name thing, i haven't actually thought about it, its usually the last thing on my mind, i'll start to think about it now that you mention it since iterators have pretty fancy weird sounding names

Just an idea for how you can have them move separate from the structure:
I have an idea for a pipe implanted in the back where they would normally be attached to the mechanical arm that cycles void fluid back into their systems however if they were to leave the superstructure without the normal power function they have to sleep every cycle like all the other creatures and if their pipe were to shatter outside of their can they would die

Oooh interesting thanks! I guess I'm not that caught up on the lore, because I didn't realize that that was what the pipes were for, I'll keep this this in mind

@@elisalikesbread I kinda just made the pipes up because of how many pipes are seen around I don’t think they really exist

@@Carrotnoodles ah! you made the pipes up, but yeah either way its an interesting idea for how they could be a substitute for the mechanical arms

At this point OC's can't exist with a wee bit of depression / trauma mixed into the lore, so all elements have been filled indeed
I like how colorful the design is! ^^

i have one in mind already, it's pretty simple so if i do a video on it it would be short, but i do have some fan character ideas that i might do in the future instead
