During the KnightMan fight, is there anything that can be done about the attacks that (I assume) intersect his hitbox and his shield on the same frame counting as a valid hit? It happens surprisingly often, and it's arguable that he needs the buff
Kinda funny that, lore-wise, Knight Man and the other robot masters in 6 are supposed to be the 8 best fighters in the world... and yet you pit them against older robot masters and they do not do very well. XP
@@ShadowdaHedgie11 They were the best robots built in the world...by people other than Dr. Light, Wily, or Cossack. Those three are the big names in Megaman.
He's also just so slow compared to the older bosses. But I think if you modified his behavior programs, maybe some AI table alterations, possibly buffed his stats he would wreck some shit.

Nah, Plant Man struggles super hard against attacks with invincibility tacked on. It ruins his fire rate and protection and basically just leaves him a sitting duck. This is part of the reason I think the inevitable Mega Man 6 tournament will be so interesting here - Plant Man has by far the best record against other Robot Masters, but Blizzard Man, Flame Man, and Knight Man could all ding his shield and leave him useless like this. Truly have no idea who's gonna win!
Seeing Iceman's turn reminded me of the 90's cartoon, Iceman getting salty Airman was showing him up by sticking a snow machine in the back of his fan and just fanning frost everywhere. Just cannot handle those air shots canceling their attacks, poor guy!
Spoiler: Somewhy, but YES. And i gotta say, if i can make a tournament with Robot Masters, that Mega Man Victory did, then Air Man also should be banned, lol.
Yeah, these bosses were not built to deal with Air Man's blowback mechanic. Cut Man managed to win a couple on his own stage because it breaks Air Man's AI right back.
Oh right. If you’re still struggling with Bubble Man’s room, have you thought to just make the water purely aesthetic and, taking a cue from Mega Man & Bass, making the ceiling spikes not instantly fatal to Robot Masters? Maybe like 4 damage per collision as opposed to the normal 2 from being attacked?
This is what I was thinking. Just make all the other robot master function in his room as they do everywhere else, as if there's no water. And do the reverse as well, make Bubble Man function everywhere else the same way he does when in his lair, it'll just be like one of his powers is that he's always swimming even in air haha. And hell I don't even see the need to make the spikes do any damage just make them aesthetic too.
I could’ve sworn the Yamato Spear had armor-breaking and enemy piercing properties like the player version, at least in lore. Which should’ve let them pass Air Man’s Air Shooter tornadoes… at least the aerial ones he doesn’t have to retrieve. Does Mega Man’s Plant Barrier stop Yamato Man’s attacks cold in gameplay?
Mega Man 2 is actually short on Bubble Man. The room is a pain to deal with because his ceiling has instant kill spikes and a bunch of Robot Masters casually clear that height without the water physics.
No matter what, however many times I try I can't defeat Air Man! No matter how many times I try I can't avoid avoid that tornado! I get behind him and fire away, but wind hurls me back anyway! I tried the Time Stopper glitch, But it's meaningless against the tornado! Thus, for the sake of victory, I'll use the E-Tank at very last moment!
By the way, shouldn't Plantman's Plant Barrier block Airman's Airshooter projectiles? (when he's using = it blocks; when he shoots = his shield gets blocked instead)
Honestly, to me, Air Man is a very cool boss to be as broken as he is here. It mostly shows in other videos but the developer-intended "weak point" where he jumps to the other side of the screen is present here, the fact that he stays as still as he does while attacking can also suck in some matchups. He's still absurdly powerful and has only ever had a losing record against Blizzard Man in a 1v1 iirc, but at the same time, a LOT of Robot Masters always seem like they have a fighting chance against him.
@@PedroJaimeCostaPereira Yeah, pretty sure. Air Man defeated all of the opponents in his vid, dominating many of them with 20-0 records. Blizz outright lost five times, with some of his wins being close matchups. Air Man also dominates the Tellys competition. So indeed the superior robot.
@@TrueYellowDart Altho Blizzardman lost five times, he still beated Airman on his CPU Battles video. If Airman IS superior, then why did he lost to Blizzardman? Edit: by the way, here's another question (still related to Airman's superiority). Besides "MM1 Clean All The Tellies Minigame" and "SMB2 Avoid The Phanto Minigame", let's not forget the other 2 ones: "SMB1 Dig To The Finish Line" and "MM4 Defeat The Giant Hippo" minigames. If Airman IS STILL superior, then why didn't he won those ones yet? (he's not the faster in both of them)
@@PedroJaimeCostaPereira Blizz won 12-8 against Air. That means Air CAN defeat Blizz, but Blizz will have the statistical advantage. Whereas Air Man dominates nearly all fights he’s in and also does well against bosses and Tellys. One doesn’t need a 100% win record to be considered superior/dominant in a competition (in fact it’s very rare). So having one matchup (so far) that doesn’t favor Air Man but that he can still win almost half of the time doesn’t invalidate my burgeoning Air Man Superiority stance.

@Rakghe NP! B^D. I have a solution for making an underwater stage, but it's very difficult to program. It looks easy, but like the slip program on the Ice man's stage, it's very difficult 8(
What if Bubble Man seems to move like he is flying (their original moves) without water tiles in the stage, and at the same time the other robot masters moves like they usually do when they fight against he?.
