This 45 minute new moon yoga nidra for deep rest is meant to connect you to the rhythm of the earth and bring you into deep stillness of the mind and body. This meditation has gentle binaural beats to further calm the nervous system, and a soft female voice guiding you into yogic sleep. This yoga nidra for the dark moon and lunar cycles starts with a physiological sigh. This yoga nidra is lead by Ally Boothroyd of Sarovara Yoga and the School of Living Yoga.
This Dark Moon Yoga Nidra Meditation for deep rest will take you down into your physical body into a state of regenerative relaxation through rotation of consciousness. This guided meditation is voice only to take you to a place of total peace, presence and regeneration. This yogic sleep practice lead my myself (Ally Boothroyd) is designed to untangle and reduce stress and anxiety and calm the nerves over time.
This 45 minute new moon meditation is perfect for stress reduction and sensing the physical body. An actual pearl of wisdom popped up early on my 18 year old cat joined me. Love yourself like your most beloved pet. You love them even though they are sometimes messy and loud and sometimes even smelly. You love them even more when they look funny or awkward. You love them when they are sick. You love them when they are old. You appreciate the good days even more as they get older, grateful for every moment of what used to be taken for granted. You just love them. That's it. I'm going to think of this when I'm frustrated with my body, or mind, or anybody I cherish. Just love them because they are.

I am in downtown Boston this weekend, surrounded by family and friends for my granddaughters graduation and art show. The busy city center and different pace of life from our quiet mountain home, the exciting energy of this place carrying me in every direction. The cool, vast spaciousness I feel as soon as you begin speaking, drawing me back into where you already are. Surrendering to the inner darkness, which is resplendent in a cooler light. Coming forth as a different version of me, accepting the flow of all the versions of me, the "me" that touches the flow. So gossamer delicate, this journey with you.

Hello Ally. First of all, thank you for doing such amazing work.
Lots of gym, morning routines, mobility workouts, breath work, meditations, some running in my past.
Yet after I watched Dr Andrew Huberman’s video about power naps then I found the termin ‘Yoga Nidra’ and discovered your channel.
This has been immensely contributing in only a few weeks. Next to the active life with gym workouts, work focus and also overal self-development. After starting with Yoga Nidra, I have been able to deepen my ability to relax and let go. Also I sleep now way better.
I am used to doing a relaxation session during the mid-day on the weekdays in the office to boost my nervous system and relax the body.
It works like magic and healing.

Thank you for another relaxing practice! Your soothing voice and calming words always help me wind down and turn inwards. After doing several of your Yoga Nidra practices, I have noticed that rain or forest sounds relax me the most. This kind of biaural background sounds make me a bit restless and take me out of the relaxation, I don't know why.
Everyone is a little bit different in which background (or no sounds) feel most supportive for them, which is why I try to provide a good variety for folks ❤️

Today,I found a nice spot up among some rocks, and beneath a giant, ancient oak tree, birds singing softly, cheerfully, the wind a whisper through the fresh leaves.... beauty is everywhere, and in everything ❤

this is really Good but what shoukd be done When I'm too anxious or restless to be influenced by this ? please help maybe ?
I'm physically really in need of sleep but my mind is just ready to tackle problems rather than going to sleep. It doesn't cooperate with body"s need of sleep . It's so frustrating and is a vicious self perpetuating spiral .. as the Mind doesn't get enough action when body is exhausted all day ..!
I've been where you are and perhaps to a certain extent worse. I strongly suggest EFT. It really digs in there and it's not a hard process. I like the family at the tapping solution. Sending minutes of Grace. Hours of silence and a peace that passes all understanding ❤❤😮
Keep doing the yoga Nidra even if your mind is still wondering you will still reap the benefits and the more you practice the more your mind will slowly start to slow down, wishing you good luck with the process and hope you find the peace your looking for.
You could start with a nadi shodhana practice - search Ally’s channel for a tutorial. And, just keep trying as you’re training your mind to become still.

I have quite a busy, stressful day job and oftentimes I'd be feeling too tired to go out in the evenings after work. I've found that these Yoga Nidra practices Ally shares are so helpful for re-energizing me towards the end of my work day, so that I can still go out and be sociable in the evenings.
