Since the release of CS2 the price of Broken Fang Cases rose 33%, and within the last 4 hours of this video it's risen roughly 8%. Seems like the market was already adjusting to the points made in this video.
I funded half of the parts for my PC with cases that I earned playing from 2012-2019. I kept a bunch. I probably could have paid for the whole thing almost. Takes time, but it's pretty cool how that can happen.

I agree.. When Shattered Web came out I was a bit confused about it being worse than previous, but actually it was better. I bought it for that price and got around 30$ just from cases and got one XM1014 worth around 40$ alone.. I made almost 70 bucks with the operation. I also bought on another account and made extra 40$ from skins and cases too.
Whats really surprising for me, is the fact that Shattered Web Case have been way harder to get then the other two and its still the cheapest of them. Looks like there is just not enough demand for them :(
shattered web cases technically weren't the hardest because if you wanted the collections you HAD to get some of the cases, and as you know people want those collection reds and not cases, so when people have the choice then less chose the case.
theyre harder in the sense that you couldnt stock up on mass quantities since you couldnt get another case without spending cash on other drops you didnt want. so it was difficult if you wanted them, but not if you wanted everything else, which I believe a fair amount of people did
You are forgetting an important part of how this works Equilibrium. As the price increases, the amount opened will also decrease. Over time they will get more expensive but more than likely you will see people purchasing them to keep and not to open.

None of them were scraped in CSGO, but they all read about 20% scratched (they were unboxed that way). In CS2, they're all ruined, especially the "Shooter Close" and "Mountains."

Actually my Blue Snowflake (paper) P2000 is scratched on the "CK" - it's on the handle though, could be due to the size bug with a lot of sticker crafts at the moment. I also have a BS Foil on my auto-sniper (it helps justify the troll buy;), which for a minute looked very similar to the rainbow effect we saw on RMR holos -- literally amazing upgrade. But they've since been adjusted closer to the original version, albeit still improved. It kind of just clicked in my head that "oh yeah, all those stickers are registered with a wear level." Part of me wants to think this is why the stickers are now suddenly looking scratched, but it's actually not the case with my BS foil, only the paper. I also checked a Shooter (not Close) Tec-9 I have in storage... looks perfect to me. They'll fix all the sticker issues, I wouldn't worry. And even if they somehow don't, don't sell the '13. But I'm sure you already know :)

Broken fang cases had the most amount of supply out of all the three operation cases. But I am just happy to see that people trying to get printstream when A1s was buffed ate through most of it and now it sits at one of the rarest cases in the game. I had 100 of those saved since the operation, and it has been my best decision ever.
Honestly at this point next operation case will probably have a high price to begin with along with insane amount of money invested into it kind of like Paris so supply won't be an issue for decades probably.

unless cs dies or valve decides to give discontinued case drops to non primes again, i honestly think the price will rise or at the very least, stay stable due to scarcity, unless someone decides to dump 1m cases onto the market, but even then, w/o any new cases dropping, the supply will dry up over time, as more and more degens line valves pockets.
I don't think you fully understood the video. This has nothing to do with rare or prime drops. These cases do NOT drop even in the rare pool. There will literally never be more of these.

I feel that his comment regarding the Printstream being as expensive as an Oni Taiji a bit misleading. If you check Float, there are only 27k Oni Taijis registered meanwhile a 173k Printstreams. There is a huge difference in terms of supply.
that may be so but awp oni taiji is a decent looking skin for the awp while the m4a1 printstream is 1 of the skins on top for the m4a1 en much more disireble

This pisses me off honestly. I don’t care about how much skins are worth I just enjoy the skins but I’m not willing to spend 1000s on skins. The print stream camos are my favorite camos in the game but I’m sure I’ll never have one. I open 1-2 broken fang cases a week trying to get one but if it keeps going up in price I just gotta accept it as I’ll never get one. At least I can still keep trying to get printstream deagle and usps.
