Hey man, been watching your cata rogue videos, just wanted to say I appreciate all the content you've put out. I wanted to ask: I'm going to be playing 2's primarily with a disc priest, do you have any experience playing this comp? Would you still take quickening 2/2 talents over improved recuperate 2/2? Sorry for the barrage of questions, but just one more question: if I'm playing human, with my 2s comp in mind, would you still take on use trinket to increase hp? I was thinking using Key to the Endless Chamber and on-use agility pvp trinket. Thank you!!
hey carlos really appreciate you watching! :D also would 100% take quickening since u gain 20% movement + increased healing, also not too mention u can use +35 agility on boots instead of speed. also since your human i would 100% go with heroic endless key trinket which gives u ur hit rating cap of 7% and a ton of agility. including the benefit of reforging more crit and mastery ^^

undead for the WOF is best for 3v3 since it now shares a cd with trinket and u wont be able to use wof for 45 sec after trinket and for long games its best to have it if your vs lock/war. with orc you can an instant burst ability which is really nice for 2s so you can your partner can switch to a target and burst hard ^
Not a bad video, well made. But I think you should release a video for week 1-2 bis fear. Since quite a lot of those pieces are pve heroics, we all know not all rogues can get a raid spot.

Would the talents be different for battlegrounds/wpvp?
Would you recommend this spec for a beginner who doesn't have any experience in arenas and still needs to get pre-bis pvp gear?
yes would choose the brick spec for battlegrounds for 5.4k tick heals with recuperate. also for pre bis gear have a video on it on the channel :D
this was good video but you need shadow dance before you can ambush or vanish after hemorrage but yeah

What if 2 points in Improved Recuperate, which provide better survival? Cheers
i would personally still choose 20% increasing healing received and also 15% movement speed to run around pillars but you could take improved recup ifu r playing with a healer. but even then i wouldn't recommend it since u lost the backstab talent

S9 thats the standard build, very strong, best option for double dps 2s
However throughout Cata you should keep an eye on 1h hemo damage. I used to have people logging over to my server after games or bgs asking me why I used a 1h lol. It's the giga never die / 3v3 build. More combo points, more recoup talents, bigger evisc, and very similar overall damage.
soz, what do you mean by 1h, isn't rogue always use 1hand weapons? Or do u mean sword/mace/axe instead of a dagger? thx
@nathansmith1430 1h sword etc over dagger. Hemo with a 1h is almost same dmg as backstab with dagger, but cheaper energy so more combo points etc.

@kyledefazio497 I'm 2600xp and yes. S9 it's the closest they compete, 1h gets better with each season imo. Double dps maybe use dagger but any healer comp or 3s sword is def better for a lot of reasons. Even in the last season there are 1h axes from the raid that do aoe dmg on proc, wearing 2 of those is superior to even the legendary daggers. It's pserver meta, but I played this way in original cata as well. People would log over and ask me why I'm not using dagger after they lose lol. It's just same if not more dmg over time and more combo points with bigger eviscerates and opens up more talent options since you don't take backstab points.

How much of gear difference it would be if I am planning to play 2v2 with disc priest?
it would be abit difficult since your going to be super squishy and you could drain your healers mana but its possible if you know how to play around your enemy while not taking much dmg but its difficult
Yo your gear doesn't work because the template that you show is good with a healer but not with double dps. And your gear the head is good but you play with too many pve items and your +65 mastery on your hands dosn't work the bis is +22 agility we don't care about mastery. Same for your feets the bis is agility+move speed
Agility>crit>haste>mastery
with zero ressi it wont work with a healer your healer will go oom in minutes, the point of playing with majority pve items is for fast kills and resets while not getting hit. mastery and crit is a bit thing in cata
