It’s about time! I’m A British born Ghanaian, I moved there some years back, stayed for six years. Was scammed several times and I’m still fighting my case now. I talk about it in a video on my channel, I had the nastiest comments from native Ghanaians but I will continue to talk about it.
Some are still abiit to give you some more regular nasty neurons, good thing i don't give a cow about it. Cause the government system is full of unjustice to allow people been robbed
I am a proud Ghanaian, born and raised in Accra the capital of Ghana. What this gentleman is saying here is nothing but the gospel truth. I know the truth hurts, my biological father has lost over 100 plots of lands in the area called Kasoa. We love Ghana and we have no other country to exchange for our beloved Ghana. But this is a undiluted fact 😢😢😢 You are always welcome to Ghana, but be extremely careful, I mean more than 1000% careful
I’m an African-American and I love Ghana. There are some beautiful and very nice people there. HOWEVER, I would not buy land or invest in Ghana to save my life! The best way to engage Ghana is through marriage. Once you marry a Ghanian THEN you put them forward and allow them to do all the negotiations for you. Even then, the risks of getting scammed are still very high. Police, judges, politicians military officials and traditional leaders can ALL be bought for the right price. I lived in Ghana for 6 years straight and even the kids scam on the street while selling water. Ghana is a beautiful and terrible place to be. To live there successfully, you must be wise.
It is very saddening, especially because your dad/family must have sacrificed a lot many years ago to buy it and it would comprise part of your inheritance or pay for your family educational expenses etc This is why some of our own people’s selfish greed keeps the growth and prosperity of everyone else in the country down Shortsightedness

How is it that Black Americans are coming back to Africa, when most of them has NEVER been there to be going back in the first place ha ha.. It is more like their decision to go to Africa thinking that they can create a better life for themselves and family.. Also, I make the mistake like so many others by referring to one country in Africa as if it represents the whole of Africa, as if Africa is a country instead of a large CONTINENT with at least 54 different countries.. One African nation does not represent all of Africa, instead, it only represents itself, same as each country in Asia and Europa only represents their individual national land boundaries..
Skin color don’t make us brothers. The enemy comes in all shapes and sizes in both male and female. The devil uses anyone who is willing to do his bidding. I’ll stick with my kind. Those who fear the most high and are submitted to his will.
Our delusional Pan African FBAs don't understand that they are a different nation of people from us. They are Hamites, but we are Israelites. They (Black Ancient Egyptians) enslaved our forefathers for 400 years to build those pyramids. YES, OUR ENSLAVED FOREFATHERS BUILT THOSE PYRAMIDS THAT EXIST IN EGYPT TO THIS DAY! AND IT WAS OTHER HAMITE TRIBES THAT CAPTURED OUR FOREFATHERS AND SOLD THEM TO THE COLONIZERS....AMERICANS AND EUROPEANS! Most of our people are blind to believe that they are our people just because they have similar skin color and hair texture.
I’m getting irritated with y’all don’t come to Africa case closed cuz if yall are so holy and are not into crime yourselves and not way worse then enjoy yourselves in America we tried to extend a hand but most of u only have negative things to say
Ghana is a lawless state in terms of land if you don't do your due diligence What do we call America with indiscrinate gun murder everywhere Where the rich make money by building prisons
You have to understand, that Ghana is the most prolific country, that was involved in assisting the colonizers in selling slaves, and still have that mentality today.
I said the same thing about America. Born and raised and it's the truth. America is Babylon.I have been fighting all my life with white, Chinese, Mexicans and blacks all my life. In other words do not invest in any government corruption company, whether it is Ghana, Philippines and many other Southeast Asian countries, etc., in the world. Ghana is just one of many, so I would not invest in those countries unless I fully understand the rules, policies, and laws that are properly enforced..
Exactly!!! Native Ghanians don’t like to hear the truth and they come online to tell Lies to people to come and invest in Ghana🇬🇭 it’s all a money Grab down there
Thanks for your honesty. I have come to learn and see that most people ( and Countries) don't like to hear the truth, especially when it places them in a negative light. Cultural norms are what they are. Corruption is a prosperity killer, for the masses. This goes for any nation on the Planet.
The sad thing is people investing 6 digits in a country they don't even live and where corruption is literally everywhere. Please keep speaking on these issues!❤😢
Some people are very naive. I was very interested in investing in Ghana. After my due diligence, I found Kenya and Zambia would be better for me and my family.
Unfortunately, it isn't just Ghana. I have heard extremely similar cases here in Gambia and other African countries. There is a much larger problem than we think on the surface. Why is there a mindset of greed, of openly taking advantage of your own people? Why is it "normal" to have to pay people to simply do their jobs? Why is it normalized to pray 5 times a day but then cheat your brother a few minutes later? How is it that Ramadan magically washes away sin and then you can start the same wickedness all over again? Anyway, I digress there is a conversation needed but I think after Go Black does this series and people talk about their issues to bring awareness, that we have a dialogue with our cousins and see if we can find some common ground on changes is mindset all around. Africa will rise but only if her children wake up and see that positive change and a rise in vibration is required!
You are 100% right! There is a reason Africa is fvcked up and it’s because of the people. So many fake religious worshippers who will pray then turn around 2 seconds later and do evil …… but only to another Black. Never a white, Lebanese, Indian or Chinese. This definitely needs to be talked about!!!
I’m Gambian and my family have experienced the exact same thing , it is not an African vs diasporan problem. It is a poverty problem, crabs in a barrel where there is poverty there is going to be scams even in the west I’ve been scammed. Scammers every where as this brother pointed out.
I know that it happens to Gambians as well. I hear that same argument from my family here. However, it happens more often to us and without remorse. We are seen as different. In some cases we are absolutely targeted. That is a fact. I also agree that in some cases it can be an issue of poverty. How is it then that some people, in my experience, most poor people would give you the shirt off of their back rather than steal yours? Merely saying it is a poverty issue lumps all poor people into a group of hypocritical thieves, who prey and then go pray or vice versa. It simply isn't true. It is about more than just poverty. It seems like a resentment of sorts. Dialogue is key. Mutual understanding is key. Communication is key. Before anything else respect and acceptance are paramount.
@@apparentlyangel I believe it is a 'spirit' of greed. Just like Europeans have evil spirits...Africa has some, too. Well said, and thank you for being honest. When people from outside see this kind of comment, it means all hope is not lost. MOST Ghanaians are wicked? Wow. That’s pretty extreme. That hasn’t been my experience at all. In that regard, the West is the most wicked of all, soooo….
All Ghanaians are not bad but in all honesty many see foreigners as cash cows, even the kids. I live there for years and my parents where born there. People think they’re going back there to connect with their roots but truth be told, this the country that collaborated with the enemy and still continues to do so. They are even making money out of the castles that housed the slaves. Even with research and care taken, it’s still a massive risk investing there as a foreigner. If Black Americans or anyone from the diaspora thinks they are seen as “brothers” or “sisters” by natives, they are wrong. In fact, most people would bow down to a white man over an African American. I even saw families literally selling their kids to these white men to take care of them, their young girls because of money. I will always have connections to Ghana, but never again will I live there.
But, him using words like LAWLESS is unfair to Ghanaians. I don’t think any reasonable person will keep going to a country he calls LAWLESS. He’s using Ghana to get views. Why don’t people go the built community route? Come together, poole funds, collaborate, secure a sure contract with the government for land development, and develop on it for an amenity-equipped built community of properties built and ready for purchase. That’s what Dre Taylor is doing and so far it’s very successful in Ghana. That protects your investment. More than just doing things by yourself.
I know am building in Ghana, you want to stay in the western world stay, you want to go to Europe go, an let me know if know curuppition is not there. Ghana is developing country but you have to put law into place. But that does not stop me from going home.
That type of corruption does not exist in the West. Yes, there is corruption in every country, but not to the extent where someone can scam you and illegally take your money and there is no recourse. This is what happens in Ghana and Africa as a whole. That is just plain crazy!! The sad thing is that they do not do this to the whites, the Chinese, the Indians, and the Arabs. They cater to them but they scam, rob, kill and destroy diasporas who try to relocate there. SMH!
The situation is disheartening, and it's been ongoing for a considerable period. What's even more concerning is that this pervasive corruption is a significant hindrance to Ghana's development, causing it to stagnate. From top to bottom, corruption has become the norm, deterring potential investors. It's deeply ingrained in both the political landscape and the daily lives of ordinary citizens. Changing this mindset seems daunting, yet crucial if Ghana is to progress and flourish as a nation.
While I agree with Go black that Ghana has a problem with corruption, I strongly disagree that Ghana is a lawless country. A lawless country cannot be the most peaceful in the sub-region and second most peaceful on the continent. Let us take out emotions and sensationalism whem we criticize. Ghana is 67 years old. American is almost 250 years old. How can you compare the two? Come and be part of the solution. It will be hard, but Ghanaians and our brothers in the diaspora are resilient. Don't let such narratives discourage you. The Lebanese, Chinese, Indians etc are making it big in Ghana and Africa! Ghana is not a utopia! Our brothers in the diaspora, come with an open minds, having thoroughly done your research and join hands with us to address the issues facing the continent! WE ARE GOING, HEAVEN KNOWS WHERE WE ARE GOING, BUT WE KNOW WE WILL GET THERE!🎶🎵 OSIBISA

I am going to need some of our 10+ years expats to learn and start some real estate companies throughout the continent with a specialized division strictly for the diaspora coming to vist/live because more of us are coming, and I am one! It's a great niche market, they could even do airbnbs for everyone not just us.
They actually do have companies already all in states like ATL and NYC but the problem comes for them with greed for money too, because after a while they start telling people what they want to hear as they travel and you never get the real deal... just like some of these UA-camrs not are not telling all in fear of "sounding negative" but sometimes the truth is just plain ole negative!
Ghana does not have freehold title available to foreigners or non citizens. So those expats can focus their efforts on those countries that do, for those for whom such laws and conditions are dealbreakers. That is a good place to start, where there is no ambiguity or discrepancy between what is being sought and the law. Anything less is a set up for fraud.
Angola why? Why move to Angola when war can easily break out again. If you were born in North America, I say it's the best place for you. The only place in Africa I would visit is Rwanda. The president of Ghana wanted rich black people like Ophra to come there, they done want the average person, but ma y people like to bury their heads in the sand, nothing will change. There are even hurting their own people when they return I say do not go to a land where you do not speak the language, I would never be able to learn a new language, so think before you run off to a strange land, because you will loose you life savings
THE GOOD NEWS IS.......THAT WE ALL ......ARE TALKING... AND COMMUNICATING...BLACK AMERICAN..... AFRICAN....... CARIBBEAN.......BLACK ENGLISH..... AND ALL OTHER BROTHER'S AND SISTER'S AROUND THE WORLD.......NOW WE KNOW WHAT OUR CULTURAL DIFFERENCE'S ARE LET US ALL START TOO BUILD.....ONE LOVE..... NEVER FORGET AND NEVER FORGIVE......KNOW YOUR HISTORY AND YOUR CULTURE.
Thank God for Government, Good Lawyer and Good Realtor in America. Research on property. That will not happen. This is making Ghana look bad, especially doing to your own kind. They may gain it dirty, but loose it on the back end by God. God is always watching and will handle when it comes to his child.
The fact is there is no such thing as a land purchase in Ghana buy foreigners or non citizens. Anyone who that fits who is presenting as having purchased land in Ghana is engaging in a fraud!! As such, how is it possible that they can feign innocence? Perhaps ignorance.
@@SamanthaLarbiwhere in the world is a lease understood as a purchase? Especially one which is restricted to 50 years for foreigners and non citizens?? This type of miscommunication is what leads to folks making videos such as this one to disgrace us!! My statement is per the terms regarding land tenure as presented in the 1992 Ghanaian Constitution and Parliament Act 1026, the Land Act Restatement of 2020. A copy of both is available online, a Google search away. Both are written in English. If there is any error on my part you are free to point out the specifics. But as long as folks understand that a lease is not ownership, which is the context of my observation, then it will be interesting to see how you spin this. It is such a spin that is getting folks duped in the first place.
First of all, the Lands belongs to Queens, Kings, families and Most are inheritances from fathers or parents. One must investigate, go to LANDS to verify it’s Authenticity’ before paying. Ghana is not a lawless Country, Ghana is one of the Countries in Africa that does NOT sit of injustices. Ghana is far BETTER THAN MOST AFRICAN COUNTRIES WHEN IT COMES WITH DEALING WITH INJUSTICES. Even born Africans in the Diaspora tend to go through the same land problems. Your words and tagging sometimes must be addressed appropriately and with a pinch of salt because is toooo generalized! Seriously! Regardless of Ghana’s deficiencies; it’s still MUCH BETTER THAN MOST AFRICAN COUNTRIES, trust me. It’s too RAW AND NOT WELL CALCULATED. We can NEVER COMPARE GHANA OR AFRICA TO AMERICA. Ghana is less than 70 years; America is 400 years . They made a lot of errors, and now Ghana and Africa should catch? Rome wasn’t built in a DAY. It will do better, we all must help Africa get better and we must be part of the change.
For Mr. GoBlack2Africa to speak so negatively on a country in Africa like Ghana, I know it must be real because this guy usually has nothing but positive things to say about countries in Africa.
Yet he keeps coming to Ghana yet he has property in Ghana that is just fine and keeps doing most of his videos in Ghana if Ghana was that bad why He keep coming to our country he can go somewhere else this type of bullshit videos he keeeps making for views is getting on our nerves making it seem like it’s so bad for views and clicks yet not too long ago he was telling ppl to invest in ghana and come to ghana wfffff
GoBlack has recently discovered his own peoples in Igboland who share his values and spiritual systems and have stated their invitation for others who share same to return to their land. It makes no sense for him to continue to seek a change where he is not equally yoked. Life is too short for that sort of time wasting. Better for him to build his life on the continent where he would be in utopia..
So this then will be the area where Ghana (due to the diaspora) will focus on improving: law and order. This is how africa becomes AFRICA … growth and improvement over time
In the same way, you are very careful in America, which should be the same way in Ghana. In any country, there are criminals and thieves. I recently was scammed by a contractor here in America. The guy received part of the money and disappeared. Becarful with whom you try to get along. Don't just think because it's Africa and because you're black that everything will be perfect. When it comes to money people are very greedy. Don't fail under the charm because they called you brother or sister, that's how we call one another in Africa
5:00… That is quite a definitive statement. I have NOT come across any type of fraud in purchasing my land and building my home in Ghana. I am also blessed to have someone on the ground there that I trust. Ghana is a different beast all-around. Many of the practices aren’t fraudulent, it’s just the way business is done. It’s not easy-o.
We have to assume you are a Ghanaian and not a foreigner. If otherwise, then how is it that you purchased freehold title when the law expressly prohibits such title for being held outside of that condition? If it was a hook up it is no less an act of fraud.
@@BonsuBigWhale I am American. I have the same leased land as everyone else but that is not fraudulent. I was speaking to the fact that I personally have not experienced any fraud during my process. I am aware of the issues facing the diaspora, I just wanted it to be known that it is not the case across the board.
@@JayaJaya-b2t What I am speaking of is the day to day business exchanges between Ghanaians. It’s not the way we do things in America because we have systems and more checks and balances but EVERYTHING is a negotiation is Ghana, so I think many perceive these nuances as fraudulent.
Yep, sounds about right my country is a crime scene which starts in the Presidential office in Jubilee House down to the streets workers. Its sad but true.
Why? Jamaica is not a lawless country, Jamaica has crime and scamming, just like America, and is not telling America to come to Jamaica to live. Also, it is difficult for foreigners to buy land in Jamaica
If the laws are not a deterrent to these kinds of realestate crimes it will continue to happen and that’s the simple truth. This is why many say it is a lawless state. Many local Ghanaians are victim to real estate crimes and justice is never swift even for them who live in Ghana. Something must be done.

All Ghanaians are not bad but in all honesty many see foreigners as cash cows, even the kids. I live there for years and my parents where born there. People think they’re going back
there to connect with their roots but truth be told, this the country that collaborated with the enemy and still continues to do so.
