Finding Opals in Andamooka.

We left Merna Mora and headed too Andamooka. Took a few photos of the Prairie hotel and The Aroma Dam. Fueled up at Marree and Camped on the Oodnadatta Track. Finally got to see Lake Eyre for the first time and tackled the Borefield track.
While in Andamooka we picked up about two bags of Potch which is sortv'e Opal but not really

Awesome video. The old building walls were fascinating. I've found old homesteads on remote trips. When I find places like that, I always wonder about the history, the story, and the lives of the people that lived there.
