    Did Dusty come up with the 4 Horsemen?

      Arn mentioned the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in some promo back in the mid-80's and some fans picked up on it, then you'd see signs on TV tapings and in arenas, so they ran with it.

      @@BourgeoisBuffoon right. But was Arn storylining it w Dusty pulling the strings?

      @@robzilla730 It was different in those days of the territories. One of the things that really got you over and would get you a push is when you could not only wrestle, but could work well on the mic.
      Arn was a fantastic talker, and he could manipulate your feelings w/o you realizing it. Unlike the WWF/E of later years, you didn't have a script. You either had it or you didn't. Arn basically wove a story that afternoon of the top of his noggin.
      That being said, if you had 'it' physically and could go in the ring, but couldn't really handle the mic, you'd be given a 'manager' who would do the talking for you, ie Gary Hart, Jim Cornette, etc.
      I kinda rambled there. But was trying to give you context. lol

    Yae but the nwo just kept burying ppl that all the wrestlers wanted to join the nwo so they wouldn't get buried themselves only problem is it just got old cuz they kept doing it just way to many wrestlers in the nwo that should of never been there

    • @newjerseyballer
      @newjerseyballer Місяць тому +1

      i always see this, but the nWo kinda needed all those wrestlers. in storyline, they weren’t considered a stable. it was more like a “civil war” with WCW.

    • @user-pt7mx5ct2t
      @user-pt7mx5ct2t Місяць тому

      @@newjerseyballer every one from WCW joined if you add Vincent Horace Hogan and disco inferno it's no longer a civil war with WCW and why would you have Mike rotundo and Ray Taylor in there horrible ideal and putting curt henning in the nwo instead keeping him in the four horsemen was just bad there was just way to many wrestlers in the nwo to have a good feud with WCW if all the WCW guys keep joining the nwo every week it ran it's course and got old and stale

    • @orion3706
      @orion3706 Місяць тому

      @newjerseyballer it wasn't a civil war. It was a WWE invasion. I know Bischoff wanted to create the nWo as its own brand, but WCW wasn't big enough prestigewise to have a separate brand like WWE and NXT is today. It went on for too long, and got too large to be successful. After Starrcade 97, the nWo should've been phased out.

    Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant are the two most over wrestlers of all time there's really no one close so of course they should be paid more than any other wrestler period I would think everyone understands that but if there's people that don't they should be band from wrestling for being stupid Stone cold the Rock the Nwo the Road warriors the four horsemen , Ric flair even Dusty Rhodes as popular as they all were Hulkamania put the business on a different level
