This is what one would call amazing skills being put to use. God bless you guys. Brilliant stuff. Vetri South Africa 🙏🇿🇦🙏

Awesome!
Corect me if I think wrong. Isn't welding proces impact to loose the material hardness?

Ain't exactly precision engineering however when you need practical and simple this is as good as you will get to effect a repair and ger the vehicle further along the way.
👏👏👏
I have a Honda Prelude of 2,1985 years with a B20a, all the ball ones are so remade😁
In this current world, it seems counter productive to repair this. When the world is in turmoil and you can't find parts, you'll remember this video. I cherish my lathe and bridgeport even though they sit unused most of the time.
I know of a Hungarian who came to the U.S. to avoid the Russian occupation, with no money and no English. He worked at a machine shop a few years and later went back to Hungary. He set himself up in a shop and a few years later came back to his retiring boss, bought the Bridgeport and had it shipped back. He's making a good living now.
Average salary in Pakistan is less than 500usd/month. So, saving, lets say, 20usd by repairing and not replacing part makes sense, because this will be you daily pay.
If the world ends up in turmoil it'll be unlikely we'll be able to get fuel to put in vehicles, never mind parts to repair them.

A beautiful job, well done,
Buying new one will be much cheaper then all this labour
Not everyone has the money to buy new ones as you claim.. necessity is the mother of all inventions remember.. You should rather be impressed with their level of ingenuity...
@@Ceasar8980 my brother I know what you are talking about, I agree guys are very talented with no doubt, if it's available in the market buy new is cheaper than all that repair and labour, repairing a ball joint is not a easy job
I am indian but you guys very skilful I am also mechanics only mechanics appreciate this kind of job heats of you dost
I really do appreciate the "get it going again by whatever means" skills these guys show, and that has it's place.
However, this is truly a bodge job and I would not feel comfortable with that "refurbished" joint on my vehicle. Correct me if I'm wrong but the ball appeared to machined free-hand and so will not have an accurate spherical surface. That will create contact pressure peaks that can damage the mating surfaces. A new ball joint will likely have a hardened and accurately ground ball, but now the repaired ball has been welded up, given a rough inaccurate machine, then sanded. The bit that gets me though is when he grips the ball with the pipe wrench AFTER sanding it smooth LOL. You can see the teeth marks in the ball after doing that. Pak Technical Solution didn't seem to have any technical solution to grip the ball joint after machining, other than a pipe wrench.
But hey, the video has got over 2 million views, so who cares. And there's plenty non-technical viewers who will say how amazing this all is.
amazing work. but i cannot imagine this to be cheaper than just getting a brand new ball joint. Perhaps if the part was obsolete or unavailable. But if parts are still sold this process will be costlier
I wonder if the next mechanic could tell if this is a newly fabricated non original OEM, OEM part? Also curious as to how long it is expected to perform before needing replacement. I would like to think something like this is actually a desperately needed repair over one that is an easy and part ready available part repair (example: the part is not immediately available for purchase and on hand to complete a timely repair).
No es más barato remplazar toda la pieza completa?
Pero és ainda más barato colectar piezas de el lixo/descarte e realizar este trabajo
Very skilled work! Thanks for the video
Man deserves a factory.
That was amazing. رائع بمعنى الكلمة.

Mucho trabajo para algo que no es recomendable, quizás en algún lugar donde no consigas la pieza y tengas que salir del apuro esta bien, pero no se puede decir que es como nuevo.

Is Pakistan still following this kind of jugad and part replacement? How long this part can last in shape? A country which is importing paper pin to engine parts. Hence all original engineering items people has to pay tripple should be forceful to continue 1970's jugad. Islamic terrorism is the only item they have to export.
Don’t even think about doing this.
