The perfect boat IMO.
I'm glad you like it. There is something about the boats FP built in this era that are a great balance between classic and modern catamaran design philospohy.
Wiley, it’ll be nice to have a key plan along with the inside tour to keep our bearings. A very compact and info dense video.
Thats great feedback. One of these days I'll get something like that going on.
Great video tour, super looking boat. I am just curious how common/often it is to have to refit and replace so many vital parts of the boat. On the sister ship that's for sale they've replaced the engines and all the watermakers and more. As someone contemplating a boat purchase is there an example of costs associated with owning and operating the boat over time?
That is a great question. It all really depends on the use for the boat. The example boat linked in the description has been in charter her entire life, which means more usage on equipment.
A private boat = less use, which means longer interval times.
What I've heard so far is around 10% of the vessel value annually. Don't remember if it includes the insurance.
@@giovannifiorentino8947 Thanks for the replies. I think if more detailed information on maintaining a boat along with the operating costs were available in detail might be the catalyst to get people off the fence. Most people have heard a boat is a financial hole that you don't want to get into. Like any purchase or investment, a hole might be a fun and manageable one. Wiley is the only guy I would ever trust to present this type of information to potential buyers.
So Wiley. Have you got a Sanya 57 for sale?. I want to buy one.
I click on your link, but it does not work.
One of the best things about the Sanya 57? No saildrives.
Can't wait to buy a boat with you! This is exactly what I'll be looking for... Keep them coming!
Mike, thank you so much for the kind words. When you are ready we'll be here, and can't wait to work for you.
