The OST is leagues above any other fighting game OST. Hell, it puts the OSTs of other high budget games to shame. Amazing OST, superb graphics, great gameplay. Tekken 8 has it all.
I wish there was extended versions of Jin vs Kazuya, Devil Jin vs Kazuya, and Devil Jin vs Devil Kazuya. All 3 are absolute bangers. And it is just the opening. That is wild.

I don't hate Tekken 7 story, i like how the story was presented. But story in T7 was very small, and the game itself is online based. And thus i expect Tekken 8 story to be very interesting)))
I've been struggling to put my finger on it but I think I figured out what it reminds me of - it kind of sounds like something Kenji Kawai would write. It has the same heavy use of ostinato string sections and horns/choir melody that you can hear in a lot of his work in film/TV. The electric guitars are much heavier obviously, but it's kinda close to his signature style which you can hear in films like the Ip Man series It all fucking rules of course
The stages don't have two devils wrecking each other across buildings so it won't fit imo. I don't mind the techno at all, it's become Tekken's identity for me now and I like it.
