Everything you miss in the Division 2 you get in Division 1 and vice versa. Both games are superb. The only downside the missions feel way to short in Div 1
Here is what Division 1 does better than the follow up: -> It is more zoomed inn so that it feels more immersive. Everything feels much bigger than in Div 2. -> The soundeffects are more balanced (effects, dialog, music) -> the safe houses are more rememberable -> the map has a big mall -> More free clothing -> the Dark Zone is bigger more iconic -> DZ EP also for PVE kills -> consumables (can food, water, cereal bar etc.) -> Loot is more logical placed (cloth in clothing stores, electronic in electronic stores etc.) -> more contaminated areas -> picklock doors -> Overall better verbal intimidation from hostile NPCs -> Upgrading your gear is simpler to understand for the average player -> underground DLC, explores the underground of Manhattan Here is what the Division 2 does better: -> The missions are longer and better -> Story (higher stakes at play in DC) -> Facing villains (like Aaron Keener) -> Better side missions -> More end game activities -> More in depth upgrades for weapons and gear -> Individual weapons -> Smoother movement and mobility of the character -> difficulty has 4 options instead of 3 -> Two city maps (DC and lower Manhattan) + upcoming expansion
I love the snowy NYC atmosphere in the Division 1. The Christmas setting and snow, combined with the gane play mechanics made this game very immersive, and impressive. Only small let down was the story and the cut scenes. I wanted more story, especially side quests. Side quests need some work. Hopefully the Division 3 can improve on that. Maybe back to NYC during winter again 🤔
@@АлександрКларк-б9щ Xbox is 60 with for boost. I have both ps5 and Xbox series x, however I find myself playing my ps5 more. I hate switching back and forth for one game that’s in both my consoles. Ps5 needs to implement an FPS boost for ps4 games
Amazing game. Took me 4 years to get the Platinum Trophy! Love the snowy setting, it's something 2 lacks. Hard to go back to the 30fps now though. I've just started Div2: Warlords of New York but NY just doesn't feel the same or look as scenic as 1. Very narrow and over cluttered imo.
The graphics look like it's made in 2023. Almost like the matrix tech demo. New York is so made for this. Even the Day Before hoax took inspiration from Division.

I kinda hope this gets an offline mode after the servers go down. One of the reasons why I never got to finish this game was due to that.

It's a pity that they didn't make a patch for 60 fps. The first game is just amazing and much better than D2, but 30 fps is a real pain on PS5.
