@@THESLlCK If what you said were true, FWD cars with longitudinally mounted engines would dominate in braking performance since they experience the highest weight distribution towards the front. But that's the exact opposite of what we observe on track! Open any book on vehicle dynamics and you'll find variations of the same recurring theme: Braking performance is dictated by how evenly the braking force is distributed across all four tires. Achieving this balance during weight transfer under braking is the tricky part. Rear-engine vehicles distribute weight more evenly between the front and rear, whereas front-engine cars already concentrate most of the weight on the front tires. This increases the likelihood of overloading the front tires during braking, causing understeer. Since tire grip is finite, excessive weight transfer to the front should be avoided. This is one of the key advantages the Porsche 911 has always had, long before GT3 was a thing. To suggest that GT3 models, since their debut in 1999, haven’t consistently ranked among the very best-braking cars of their time is a blatant lie
It’s a very lovely car to drive, but unfortunately just doesn’t have the raw pace of the faster S1 builds. Best I could get out of it was about 2s down from my Viper AE, Ford GT and Mosler testing on Festival Circuit
Great driving as always ISAD. It's an odd car to nail down really, on one hand you have exceptionally good cornering but on the other hand it really suffers with top speed. It's suited for tight tracks and circuits, does way better on stuff like Cathedral Circuit and the San Juan Sprint. It's alright for S1-Class though I feel the regular GT3 or the Porsche 935 are better alternatives. 🤔
@IsuckAtDriving The 962CR is, unfortunately, an alternative meta in this category, but yeah, the Porsche Schuppan 962 CR is better than the 992 GT3 RS, but I don't say the GT3 RS is terrible
@@IsuckAtDriving Yeah the 962CR is a lot better than this funnily enough. The GT3RS isn't terrible by any means but it's sort of overshadowed by other better Porsches sadly.
8:36 next time you can pick up a second or two by making a wide turn in the dirt and would have won you the race. The other guy tried but ran into the house out there. 🤣 Don't go out that far, stay on the inside of the house.
The new GT3 RS handles so well and brakes are excellent as well. It’s also great in Gran Turismo 7 as well with functional DRS that you can toggle on the straightaways.
Dude, i was using K1Z bard and jumpy tune. I hated it. I saw ur tune specs and i was skeptical given that I'm racing on wheel but hotdamn. Ur tune is a fucking miracle
I was in that last race with you at Linea Costera(and a few others last night), GT: OMENPNW. I may have finished 6th or 7th had I not gotten run off the track by a couple of not so friendly drivers! 😅
in the last race, do i spot some cheats? is that ktm really that fast? it starts in s1 already and is slow as sin ...not much room to take it so far it would outaccelerate an actual functional car like all the surrounding 911s
I got mission 8 bmw thats built for s1 and absolutely destroys in s1 beat literally everything in corners its just slower then people's 900 to 1000hp on the straight even times when the top cars in 1st and 2nd start trying to block me off even push me to the wall becoz i barely have to use the break 🤣 race cars are crazyy
check Steering Linearity in advanced controls. play around with it a bit, im on console and have it set to 70 (i think base game is 50) makes turn in very snappy while also being able to back off just a bit to not lose excess speed through coners
its AWD with that anti lag, just tried it now, RWD is a bit underpowered but good for circuits, this one was able to keep up with a FXX on straights and braking on this car is amazing.
Of all current arcade racing games, FH5 is the only one that feels best in terms of physics, sound accuracy and looks pretty. No lame powerups like nfs, no clunky physics and sound like the crew lamefest or tdu solar crown which are more of a disaster than a game. FH5 cons are the cringy dialogues only.
I dont think the Gt3 rs is good at the very fast races. It is build for cornering. Your tune looks very very understeery. A proper setup should help with the right tuning parts
Two things I see wrong with this car AND the tune used: One, the downforce is WAY too high, and Two, this car has ZERO acceleration off turns. I feel like you were too hesitant on braking as well Edit: Bro you got PASSED by a KTM, and LOST to it on the last race? Well now I know its not the car's fault, its the one holding the controller and the tune used
When I do meta tuning to be competitive, "OMG meta abuse! AWD OP Engine swaps" When I do purist tune "This tune is slow! So bad power/weight ratio, I can tune better"
The Supervan rolling over got me 😂
The Supervan best known to have turbo speeds.
Yea... Its like a matchbox on wheels... Ain't gonna stay on its right side for long😅
The normal one does that alot, but the Donut Media version won't. :3
It's amazing car and i won a lot races in it
The car is a braking monster in Forza. Hard to not slow too much at corner entry.
very different from real life.

@6:10 Tha'ts me ! lol still tweaking my tune but definitely got nervous seeing GD coming through 😅😅
Evo 3 does that too, except it flips forward when you hit a bump. That’s weight reduction, I feel your pain man.
Try wider tires. My Mystang GTD could not some times leave corners, I used wider tires and he is so fast in S1.
5:19 perfectly placed slow motion

Nothing will beat the Viper AE and Mosler sadly, they are so fast that any new car probably won't beat it
@3:21 oh what the hell was that? that crash almost caused ISAD the race!

ISAD playing FH5? In this economy?
The GT3RS 2022 on FH5 looks fantastic!
Those Viper boys which seem to be theire only car in S1 really suck

About 80%
