I spent 8 months at Alumim, from 1988-1989, as a volunteer worker from the USA. I still recognize some faces after more than 30 years, I see Michael from Manchester from the Lul was interviewed (first Alumimnik I met, he picked me up from the tsomet), I think he worked in Shalhin back in those days. I also recognize Pini and Yair Kenan, but I didn't remember their names until I saw on screen. Menahem Saar from he Mata is a familiar face, back 30 years ago I worked with Meir'ke and Yoss'ke. I visited Alumim briefly once again in 2000, 11 years after I worked there, and stayed in the guest house (which didn't exist back in 1988-1989). I miss my time there.
