The group first met in May 2018, setting a budding relationship.

"I see the Christ in you." What a wonderful way to see & feel about every soul w whom we come in contact; particularly those whom we may think are different than ourselves. The truth is that we are all brothers & sisters & we are all children of Father in Heaven. Jesus Christ died for us all.

I need to comprehend, then, why black males were unable to hold a Priesthood position in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints until 1968, if Joseph Smith fought for the abolition of slavery?

As far as I understand.. The answer is in old testament. But.. No one can supersede God's decision or know what's in His mind This is His church, It either is or not. So, when God deemed it fit. He made it happen. No mortal can do anything about it. Joseph Smith pushed God to give the book to Martin Harris I believe and we members know what happened after that.

I cant figure it out either, I just know the priesthood is available since 1978 . Throughout history there has always restrictions on holding the priesthood, the whys are questioned. Let's just move forward, forgive and work togather.

You should first make a research why gentiles were not allowed to be converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ during early christian era until the Lord revealed to Peter to bring the gospel to the gentiles as recorded in Acts chapters 10-11.

Priesthood ordination has nothing to do with slavery.
